... or TK was maybe being a bit greedy in thinking he'd be getting the type of money he was on at Leicester.. despite playing the majority of last season in League 1?
Can't complain about the lad for trying to get the best deal he can for himself, and while we're obviously not going to compete with other clubs, I imagine he's on a fair deal with the promise that he will be allowed to move on to bigger and better things if another club comes in.
Very pleased he has signed. A settled squad is always good and that should pay dividends especially early on in the season . I like it when Tom says in his interview that he's come home. That means a hell of a lot to him AND the fans. It means he is happy and settled. Tom is very happy working with Keith and that is clear to see. Keith says he's a leader and that's what we need in a broadly young squad. A versatile defender, mainly a very solid left back, but has also shown last season he can adapt to central defending if needs be.
Yes, he can get caught on the ball, but that isn't too often, thank God. But his reading of the game is superb and he can offer an attacking side to his game.
And all this, still being in budget...WOW.
Oh, and TK should be on penalty duty from now on, for me.
Glad Will Buckley didn't suffer serious injury after that foul
It was a sickening one wasn't it. It just added to the greatness of the goal. A centre half, famous for doing little fouls and getting away with them, got a taste of his own medicine. Usually he'd be the one bouncing down and getting a free kick. Not this time :)
