How bizarre was it to see the home fans applauding a penalty scored against them? Even the commentators were struck by it.
It's the same as us applauding Michael Owen scoring against us to relegate us because he's English and plays for his country. It simply wouldn't ever happen.
The only explanation is that they never go to a game and had just turned up to watch Man United as a novelty.

That week of course Real BASIL and YS joined forces and also made sure the southshore massive got home too. | |

I can honestly and genuinely say that the YS are some of the best fans I've ever travelled with,and I've had some great laughs with them which carry on today.
Sometimes a clubs best assets arent quite so obvious to appreciate.  | |

Just for the record. PNE fans did not applaud Wiggy's penalty.
I, along with rest of the PNE fans, were applauding, but it wasn't for the Mancs. It was for PNE. The dozy commentators assumed, wrongly, it was for the Mancs.
