Sorry missed that game, so can´t comment (will take your word for it) but generally his free kicks this season have left a lot to be desired. Not sure who would be better mind you (unless Adel is bought back from the Gobi). I can´t understand why he puts too much foot under the ball, leans back and just floats them in. Makes it easy to defend. He should look at Gerard who most of the time manages to whip the ball in at pace. | | | |

On reflection I think your right some of his corners today were much better than normal. But his free kicks and most of his corners this season have not been anywhere near the standard you would expect in the premier league. | | | |

His set pieces aren't the problem,its the rest of his game that looks to be on the wain.
He looks very slow and continually gets out muscled by bigger faster midfielders.
