Or just not good enough for Spurs' bench?

Loan move in January.

no I understand they don't want 50 games from him, but I'm pretty certain they were hoping for more than 50 minutes (premier league minutes that is).

he's a little younger than I thought - i thought he was 22, so my mistake.

They've got their plan for him, the 5 year contract makes sure of that, but of course the best laid schemes o' mice an' men..

Poll: Who did you vote for today, in the general election?

Ben will come good. Can't believe he's getting such stick now from our fans. We go Gylfi out of the deal and he's been fantastic.

I don't dislike Ben, I hope he does well, it's just my opinion he is no where near the standard expected of a top six club, I hope he goes on to prove me wrong for the national teams sake. Huw played an absolute blinder in the deal.

In answer to the question, I think if Taylor stays injury free for the next two months he will be back to the form he was in prior to injury. Look at our goals conceded tally this season, it's no coincidence imo.

I remember him being ridiculed by the Walsall team in the tunnel (league cup game)
I think he was man of the match.

Blackpool away the season before was his debut I am sure. We lost trying to get into play offs . I remember that Walsall game he got bullied a bit and looked very lightweight, he then went to Wrexham on loan and came back a man.

He came on when we were losing to Barnsley and he was really changed getting stuck in and full of confidence. He played more or less non stop after that game.

Life is an adventure or nothing at all.

Wasn't it Blackpool home (when they beat us 6 - 3)? I remember him coming on and demanding the ball non stop in that game.

Yes your right, I don't know why I even thought it was away, a day full of hope which evaporated pretty quickly. I think we needed a lot to go our way that day, still Blackpool went on to do quiet well so that was nice.

Life is an adventure or nothing at all.

That was Reading at home in a cup game, I'm pretty sure. They were Premier League at the time and we absolutely dominated but ended up losing 0-1. Joe looked a world-beater in the making that night.

An idea isn't responsible for those who believe in it.

Taylor is already back to the form he showed before injury. Adequate defensively and can't attack for shit. He's never been any more than that. It's the primary reason why he never got his place back off Davies when he was here, even when he was fit again.

He's just nowhere near as good.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Mind you, Spurs look nowhere near a top six team ATM. Barely top ten

I rate Taylor a little higher than that, but Ben is certainly the better player.

For those who are writing Davies off because Spurs aren't playing him in the league, Pochettino is barely playing any of their summer signings, only Dier is getting regular games.

There's a belief among the press that he's not happy with the fact that players are signed for him and the transfer committee failed to deliver Schneiderlin, the signing he really wanted. His response is to marginalise the signings he never really wanted. Don't know how true it is, but I do know that plenty of Spurs fans are baffled that Rose is keeping him out of the team.

You know, Hobbes, some days even my lucky rocket ship underpants don't help.

Yet is a more suited player in the back line that has kept clean sheets in pretty much half their games this season. It's a funny old game as they say.

Vorm & Ben played tonight couple of good saves at the end by Vorm.
