Saints trip to the Emirates to take on yesterdays opponents Arsenal has now been changed due to the Gunner participation in the Europa League and may yet be subject to further change.

Pencil this fixture change in your diaries rather than write it in ink because it might be changed again.

Southampton’s away Premier League meeting with Arsenal has now been given a new date.

The original fixture was due to be played at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday 23rd February 3pm , but has now been switched to Sunday 24th February with a kick-off time of 2.05pm .

The match will not be televised, with the move due to Arsenal’s participation in the UEFA Europa League on the preceding Thursday.

Please note, should Arsenal progress to the EFL Cup final, this fixture will be subject to further change.

underweststand added 21:36 - Dec 17 Doesn't matter which date they change the fixture to , they can't hide from Ralph's gang. Now we should be looking to do the double over them. I think we 've only beat Arsenal twice away in the League in more than 50 years. I saw one of those games in 1967-68 ...AND we did the double over them that season. COYR!!!!
