Not Pleasant Rumours Sunday, 6th Dec 2015 10:00 by Planet Swans (follow us on Twitter @Swansnews) There were plenty of rumours and reports doing the rounds yesterday as the Swans capitulated 3-0 at home to Leicester in a game that could well see the end of the reign of Garry Monk as Swans manager. Chasing after opposition players after the game as well as reports of a team bust up before the game makes for a worrying picture that is being painted and, if true, will only lead to one thing happening at the club. It did seem to be a mystery prior to the game why Jonjo Shelvey was not in the matchday squad so it was only natural that the rumours would suffice as to what happened. The story goes that Shelvey had a bust up with Gylfi Sigurdsson before the game and stormed out having refused to be on the bench. Garry Monk himself said after the game that the omission of Shelvey was not through injury which has to place a question mark over the future of Shelvey yet again, just twelve months after he was publically criticised by the manager. I have no idea how much truth there is in the rumour but there would have been no logical reason for the absence of Jonjo for this game so there could be something in this even if it is over exaggerated in places for effect. Then we have reports that Ashley Williams and hat-trick hero Riyad Mahrez had a bust up after the game. Sky Sports reported that "Williams and Leicester's Riyad Mahrez had to be separated after a post-match bust-up" with further suggestions saying that he was looking for the Leicester team bus. Again this sparks a worrying trend and certainly not how we would expect our captain to behave no matter what may or may not have been said to him. What these two incidents highlight is the problems that we have in the camp and whether it is frustration or something else but they have to be addressed before they get any worse.
