For the record, Lee Wallace shouldn’t have rated higher than a “3†! I was in X block and in the first half alone he refused possession from a team mate when it was the right ball for him to go down the line on 3 occasions Embarrassing - so we were essentially playing with 9 men 😉 |

If there’s anybody more thrilled about the return of the anal cyst on the rump of the sporting universe that is the Mercantile Credit Trophy than us then I’d hate to meet them. Funny as fck, thanks Clive Buckle up everyone and as we say every year - it’s the hope that kills us |

My expectation level on Dunne was a "C" He was an "A" for half the season and an "E" for half the season - that's a "C" 😃 |

Personally, I love all the tika taka and prefer to watch a team play this way than rely in one long hoof aka Wimbledon BUT, Harry has to get the balance right as we have the cutting edge of a Christmas pud (note seasonal reference) We should be able to win these games 2 or 3 nil ! |

Agree with Hastings I think Hoilet, Campbell, MBia and Diakite could rip the Championship apart. Get back Faurlin and Bob's yer Uncle We may even stop the slide into Div 1 ! |

Probbo - The has age groups from U9 - U18 and also developement "training" for younger still - it has done for quite some time ! You therefore have to wonder What Gallen, Bircham (more recently) and all the coaches have been doing - perhaps the philosophy and implememtation of training hasnt been adequate ?! |
| News Comment | Allardyce Hammers Hughes on grim night in W12 — full match report at 12:39:21
SWP - To play someone purely for their defensive capabilities who fails consistently to offer proper defensive cover is shameful. He has been given far too much pitch time and that is Hughes fault. Adel does not track back enough, but he does his bit quite often and its what he offers us as a team thats important. West Ham ended up defending 15 - 20 yards further back when he's on the pitch and that made a huge difference. M'Bia was immense as was Diakite (until the sending off) and its that steel you need in the middle - most other teams have it, why not us ?? I agree Clive, Hughes lost this game pure and simple but some of the players didn't do themselves justice or simply aren't good enough at this level. |

Thank you both I loved Macca, whenever his name was on that teamsheet I knew we always had a chance. Very best wishes to his family at this extremely sad time |
