I did a boarding party course at Cambridge. Running up and down that hill with a 4.5 shell. Just for yawning.
alas, that place has gone to the great Naval Base in the sky.
Collingwood for newbies is pretty strict. Raleigh is but not as you would remember. Just that this TV programme has shown zero naval training and has focused on about 4 simpletons and some prat as class leader |

It has gotten soft over the years. when Crown Immunity was taken away from the armed forces, many aspects of training had to be changed
Women in front line infantry/commando roles is next on the hit list
there is a massive element of TV editing to make this show.
Much of the swearing/language/tone has been toned down. Much of that is because (i kid you not) people (the staff) dont want to have some form of court case brought against them (the production team had to highlight the possibility to them)

a genuine ITKer on saintsweb said things are well beyond great behind the scenes and have been for a while it seems. words like 'furious' regarding Koeman were used

They leave saints, play 20+ games a season, win trophies, be shoe-ins for the national side which means going to the Euro's and world cups, have a huge pay rise and have loads more exposure for not even playing that well
or, they could stay where finishing 8th is celebrated like winning the league. Probably never ever win anything and will have to play the form of their lives to get into the england squad, let alone the team

I get that it is 'his right' but he will no doubt f-off so many people that pay his ridiculous salary, in what he believes to be a blood thirsty, murdering nation.
he probably hates everything British/English and what we did or didnt do to his countrymen.
he hates it all apart from
the wages, the fame, the health service, the general quality of life etc etc.
his life here, in a country is dislikes a fair bit is disgustingly better than it ever could be in the republic
