Personally stick him in the midfield like Sheff Wed do with Bannen and Sunderland do with Pritchard
Getting the ball off the centre backs and starting attacks |

Personally I play him in a midfield three , coldback, d-bonner and chair ( field in defence)but you then need Willock fit as you have no one else apart from adomah to go wide .
Chair against Preston and hull played deeper and closer to Willock and from that position can’t be doubled up on.
I know a striker is priority no1 but I wouldn’t be shocked to see two wide/forwards come in |

Starts 343 with dykes wider of the 3 then goes 442 with dykes right wing , then brings on Albert who goes up front , why leaving Martin to run on treacle , not just Wigan game , Birmingham/Blackpool starts with a back 3 by the end I have no clue on formation
We all laughed at Critchley when field was right wing but Ainsworth done the same with dykes yesterday. Why didn’t he go 343 with Willock , dykes and Lowe , gives you Martin for dykes and chair for Willock sub , there was no need to change to a flat back 4 at half time . |

I found the Kakay/Drewe one the worst “ how good was these two” they was ok nothing special run around a lot , what you expect from a footballer. To me they picked out two academy players and say , hey look we promote players from the youth and how great are our coaches.
Everything supporters have been questioning.
The one thing I noticed pre Watford and after was Ainsworth in every club and west London sport he mentioned Ramsey and how good he is and Hall to , I’m finding this more worrying |

Twice his played 433 played the same position formation as Beale with players brought in for that system and comfortable playing 433 won and drawn and two clean sheets

Disagree, I been in the keep camp but after that today he has to go , Les is not playing field as a right winger , why the flip are you taking a good defensive midfielder out of position and play two lightweights , Field with one or other surly .
He so rigid with 4411 he can’t change , since he been here he played shopido, willock, Roberts , adomah , dozzell and now field !!!! Hey Neil why not change your system , trying to play chair left wing , swapping dickie and Dunne over wow . We got 5 no 10s in the squad so don’t play wingers we not got any !!!
Today go wing backs , adomah right wing back ( tire you put on Drewe and say get up and down pish there left back back ), field , dozzell , and chair and Lowe as no 10 , every game I watch same subs no change of shape , still rigid 4411. The bad news of some Critchley going nowhere, he was the board choice in the summer but wouldn’t pay the compensation. He work under a director of football and maybe at last actually work with what he given , rather than try bring in his mates like Beale and warburton .
I think we have to give him a chance , look what he’s inherited absolute disgrace of a squad , Roberts and salter , Laird against Swansea a little run and oops off I go , Paal v hull , don’t fancy it I sit down one minute before half time ( be a man and carry on ) Willock yesterday one little jog and off . What do you expect him to do ,
He has the illness to Dykes
If you actually take a step back from results he come in and at last got rid of , Thomas , Nico , shopido , masterson and if you listen his interview he openly says the standard of training was not good enough so they had to go. 3 months he been here and they’re gone .
A psychiatrist has come in , now is this down to Neil , no sign of one before so maybe it something he suggested.
Give hime a year , he trying to shoe horn a 433 built squad into 4411 we don’t need a complete rebuild , chair I can see going maybe senny , the championship is not pretty look at Millwall strong in defence work horses in midfield couple of lively forwards

Absolutely spot on , the problem is the formation, summer recruitment was for 433 , Roberts and Richards were brought as back up to chair and Willock and the also cover ( Roberts cf) Richards ( md) Tim in a 3 is so much better in a two he looks lost , chair is not a left winger , Willock is not a left winger . The formation is so unbalanced is doesn’t work .
We now have 5 number 10 , two had to play wide
