Manning will be first choice LB no matter what, so RM must have wanted to see if Perraud has the flexibility to play as a CB.
I didn't see the game but sounds like the answer to that is a no. I'm glad we found that out in a cup game instead of a league match worth 3 points.
RM can now advocate for a Perraud sale, knowing he is too good to sit on the bench as backup LB, but also now knowing he can't do anything else as a player that will assist the team moving forward. |
