Brighton have handed him a six year deal, what the feck is that all about. IMHO that will cost them a fortune when they sack him, mad or what?? |
| Forum Thread | Too light weight in the boiler house at 21:36 28 Sep 2019
Watching the subs warming up at half time and i thought the under 16s were out there. Tom Carrol, Danda and Dyer. Surely too lightweight to come on and make an impression? Byers also too lightweight today as was Celina too, they couldn't tackle a good dinner between the 5 of them. |
| Forum Thread | Anybody looking forward to playing the Canaries next? at 20:16 3 Mar 2019
After yesterdays result against Bolton should we be looking forward to the next game at Norwich or concerned that having played for long periods of yesterdays game against 10 men then 9, will we struggle big time against a proper top Championship side away? Thoughts please? |

Jeff made a huge difference when he came on the poor SU full back didn't know if he was Arthur or Martha? Lets hope he stays fit cos, IMO I dot think there is a better winger in the Championship.

| Forum Thread | Alfie Mawson for England? at 21:11 3 Mar 2018
To me he is looking better game by game but could he make the world cup squad? Who are the other centre back contenders Stones, Dann, Jagielka, Kane, smalling, surely he's up there with them? |
| Forum Thread | Huddersfield away next, any thoughts?? at 20:33 3 Mar 2018
After we get over the euphoria of todays performance/result i think it will be a really tough game next week. They are a different opposition at home. They will press us from the first whistle to the last. If we are not up for the battle, as we were today, we will come unstuck again. I think todays team and formation would be are best bet 5-4-1 We need to take that same attitude, commitment and most importantly tempo on to the pitch and i think we will be fine, anything less and its groundhog day? |

Did anybody see what happened to him, was it an elbow from A Ayew? |
| Forum Thread | Alfie Mawson at 22:00 10 Feb 2018
I thought he was immense today. He was strong in dealing with Barnes and Vokes, good in the air, cool in possession and hit a few fantastic diagonal balls to switch the play. Looked a complete margin at £5m Any thoughts??? |
| Forum Thread | Bobby Madley and his assistants at 22:28 2 Jan 2018
He was a fuking disgrace tonight. He bought every single dive from the Spurs players from back to front. When Ali, Son and Lamela dived in the box he just he just waved his hands to gesture no pen but didn't book one of them? He had already booked their centre half in the 1st half and when he went through Ollson in the 2nd half he had to show him the 2nd yellow but what did he do, he pulls the captain over with the centre half and give him a warning and some advice and within a few minutes Spurs subbed him to save him getting a red. That is totally unacceptable if it was a second yellow as it was he should have gone but these big teams always get the break, if it was say Mawson or VDH on any of Spurs boys they would have definitely gone. The assistants deffo got the Llorente offside goal wrong too but seem to get every single Swans offside all game. The Swans played well tonight especially in the 2nd half but absolutely no luck at all they didn't deserve to loose but same old same old. Put the 2nd team and fringe players in on Saturday and lets get in to the Geordies next in the league. If they play with the same desire/commitment as they did in the 2nd half tonight and get sick note Bony back we could defy get a win up there? |
| Forum Thread | Siggy at 18:25 1 Jan 2018
I see we are half way through the season and Siggy has started on the bench for Everton today against Man U. This was going to be the case especially with Rooney in the same team, he is going to pull rank on Siggy by taking all the free kicks and pens too. I don't think a manager as pragmatic as Allardice would play both in the same team together irrespective of Everton paying £45 Mil for him It could be another Spurs scenario for Siggy ( be careful what you wish for and all that) never mind at least he's on £100k plus a week, i'm sure that will ease his disappointment a bit? Any thoughts? |
| Forum Thread | How can genuine football clubs grow at 22:14 27 Dec 2017
After hearing moaning Mourhino earlier say that spending £300 million is not enough how the fuk are real genuine real football clubs ever going to compete with the big boys? Utd,City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs. When you here Jose say things like that after getting an injury time equaliser against Burnley, how disrespectful is that to the other 15 plus in the league? The previous game he lost to a "very lucky" Bristol City, he's a condescending tvat of a man. He is only confirming that spending shit loads of money alone that can bring you success as a football club. Brian Clough, Jock Stien, Shankley etc must be turning in their graves |
| Forum Thread | Bristol City at 22:11 20 Dec 2017
I hope the Swans players were watching Bristol City Vrs Man uU tonight. Bristol were absolutely fantastic. They were the better team in the first half and played some really good stuff too. The most noticeable thing for me was their work rate with and without the ball. Man U chucked on all the big guns in the 2nd half but Bristol kept to their game plan and passed the ball well under tremendous pressure. Compared to our shower the other night against Everton it was chalk and cheese. No real names in the Bristol side but a clear football identity and fantastic work ethic too, they are obviously coached very well by Lee Johnson as they are up the top of the Championship with some much bigger clubs who have spent big. A top young manager for sure? |
| Forum Thread | Jose Mourhinio at 22:53 10 Dec 2017
What an arrogant ungracious prick he is. When asked after the game today about the match he said that Man City are protected by the luck gods it should have been a penalty. What a fuking hypocrite. Says the exact opposite when Utd luck out as they have many times |
| Forum Thread | Ex Swans legends born 10 or 20 year too early at 22:51 23 Nov 2017
I often think of ex Swans players and what they would have been worth and paid if they were playing nowadays? For example Leighton James compared to Routeledge,Dyer, Narsignh Robbie James/Tommy Craig compared to Ayew, Fer, Clucas, Carroll Alan Curtis/Bob Latchford compared to Baston, Gomis, Paloski Jeremy Charles/Speedy/Ante Rakavic compared to Kyle Bartley/Fernandez/Mawson Wyndham Evans There are many, many more. The current squad of 1st team players are paid an average of £35k per week with 2 and 3 year contracts. I suggest the above Ex Swans players if playing today would be paid even more than these boys instead of the pennies they were paid in comparison? I wonder what they would say about it? Any thoughts?? |
| Forum Thread | Swans 6 games in report at 21:17 23 Sep 2017
Aways, 5 points Saints - We were 2nd best all day and lucked out big time for a point that we didn't deserve (1 point) Palace - We beat currently the Prems poorest team, just about. (3 points) Spurs - We parked the bus and played on the Wembley fear factor but good defensive display rode our luck again (1 point) Homes, 0 points Mun Utd - played well in patches but the result said it all, poor defending and nothing up top. Newcastle - We managed to make a poor side look good. We missed the best 2 chances of the game and conceded a free header from a corner Watford - 1st half we didn't compete at all and were lucky to only go in one down at the break Better 2nd half, upped the tempo and pressed well to equalise but stepped off the gas again and made schoolboy errors to concede a late winner. PC needs to get tough with his squad and remind them how hard we had to work to stay up last season. If we don't shape up quick its looking grim |
