Great assessment on Charlie Austin, I think he will step up to every challenge put in front of him, Charlie will be crucial in survival.

QPR's secret Japanese weapon, via Newcastle — interview

Reading this article intrigued me a lot. But one player stood out for me most taking all this into account, Junior Hoilett. Despite a good start to the season, Hoilett's consistency dropped and put in a number of low key performances, constantly jeered by the crowd with cries of 'Toilet' dishes out by many rangers fans. You could see Junior lacked confidence big time, he would be scared to take anyone on or try a shot incase he lost the ball and got more abuse from the fans. I have always liked Hoilett and I think on his day he is unplayable and is a big part of our team. But he failed to show anything really of note this season and was constantly hounded out by bigger, stronger players an never had an end product to the annoyance of rangers fans.

Now take yourself to those play-offs games. We might not be standing here in the Premier league if it wasn't for Hoilett's contributions. When the crowd got behind the team in that game against Wigan at Loftus Road, look at the results in produced from Hoilett eventually leading to one of many darting runs which led to the crucial being awarded and converted. Also at Wembley, clock ticking down, players looking tired. Hoilett wiggles his way through on the byline and then looks to have lost the ball to a big, scary, towering centre half in Jake Buxton, but he put his body into that challenge into Buxton, got the better off him and eventually put in the cross (albeit a poor one in truth) that resulted in Bobby sending us into raptures. Now would a Hoilett in January or February would have shown that battle and commitment and stood up to be counted? Of course not. So I think a mixture between this Steve Black and the fantastic support of us rangers fans in the play-offs reincarnated Hoilett and probably booked us a place in the Barclays Premier League.

Personally I think some rangers fans have been a bit naive with Hoilett and discarded his the ability he obtains. Surprisingly, A players support and backing goes a long way in his confidence and attitude towards the game and will raise his performance levels significantly, look what happened with Bobby when we got behind him for those final few months! So I think the fans should get behind the players, especially people like Hoilett who obviously has fragile confidence when things don't go his way and the fans get on his back, the support will go a long way! COYRS!!! :)
