Are you referring to the 3-2? If so, there's no way that away end was only half full. The only empty seats were around half a block at the Pearl Street side and slightly more at the Sandy Lane side of the away stand. Definitely 2,500+.
Yep, that's honestly 100% what I believe and what I've been reiterating in the thread before this. I absolutely love trouble at the football because I'm a #Lad. Of course I'm not pretending, I'm just an inbred biffo devoid of any intelligence.
As I've said, if anybody innocent was hurt by Oldham fans I can only say I'm sorry and hope it's nothing serious. I just can't help feel that such an attack would be all over the media as an attempt to further demonise regular football fans.
I don't live in Oldham or go to school there, so I suppose that bit of satire failed, I live in the East Midlands.
I'm willing to give any away team up to 49% of the capacity, as long as home fans can't fill that area. If they can, the away team has to put up and shut up with the allocation they receive. That's my opinion, one I know isn't popular amongst football fans, I've never understood why people are so pedantic about moving for one game. In the past we've had away fans in the lookers because the RRE was sold out. I don't need patronising, I'm not a moron (I am really because I support the BifFoS haha!!!!! Footie banter!!!!!).
So you agree something should have been done to segregate supporters? As it is almost impossible to do a postcode/accent check for this game what do you propose should have been done? I'm fully aware of when I was born, thanks, I only said I was 16 to give you an indication of the 'rivalries' I've seen. I said it was my last point as quite a few of your fans weren't looking at my other posts, which meant I repeated myself about ten times.
From what I can grasp trouble started because Oldham fans started celebrating after our second. Is it acceptable to start a fight with somebody just because they're celebrating their team scoring?
Also, watch the penalty. Logan punches Kelly as he's celebrating, had Liam decided to make a big deal out that Conrad would be looking at a three game ban, minimum.
If you all honestly think we're obsessed with you, you're delusional. We looked forward to the game due to the immense travelling army. You claim you don't care about us, yet it's the first time you've broke 7,000 for a league game in god knows how long (nobody has gotten back to me on that).
I'm back home now so this is my final post on the matter. I am against any sort of football violence, I condemn the actions of any Oldham fans who couldn't behave themselves and I sincerely hope that anybody caught up in anything is ok. My feelings are that this could have all been prevented as you have had a month to plan for extra Oldham fans, in order to preserve the safety of everyone in Spotland, my suggestion was an extra section but we obviously disagree on that. I'm not wasting my time repeating points and I wish Dale success as long as it's not at our expense. I am a sole person and I do not represent every single Oldham fan, that's life. As I've said, I condemn the actions of any Oldham fans who have caused trouble but I didn't comment on it previously as I've seen nothing official.
Bury don't care about you and neither do we. We're both much bigger clubs than you. Bury were in the Championship not long ago, somewhere where you've never been in your entire history. Their rivals are Bolton. A local derby is two teams in close proximity to each other which we both definitely are.
I haven't seen anything official. If something has happened, I hope the person involved is ok and I condemn the actions of any Oldham fans who have hurt an innocent party.
I didn't say it did, I'm completely against football violence as innocent people can get caught up. I wanted Oldham to get a larger allocation TO PRESERVE THE SAFETY OF BOTH SETS OF SUPPORTERS.
I didn't see any Oldham fans 'acting like cocks'. Christ, it's local derby. As for the City/United thing, that's because home fans can fill those seats which is fair enough.
To section off a section of either the Pearl Street End or The Main Stand. Or, to make it allocated seating in the first place. What if innocents would have been caught up in that mess today? Anything could have happened.
Because they were full of Oldham fans. It only takes a minority to cause trouble, obviously most Oldham fans in the home ends behaved. Genuine question, when was the last time you broke 7,000 for a league game?
I certainly don't endorse violence. Agreed they should have behaved, but that doesn't excuse the inadequate allocation like we had a Bury 18 months ago. Your club and the police obviously have intelligence on these things. Final post on the matter as we obviously disagree. I'm obviously just a moronic naive child.
