if we wait till we are safe to do it we will never do it. there will always be a doubt in whether we will stay up or not as it always will be for the majority in the league.
I think its crucial to expand even if we go down. there will be lots of empty seats then of course but id be confident in us coming back up in no time so it would be readey for that. theres no sense in turning people away from tickets. |

was good tonight can still do better though. I can understand not everybody wants to sing for 90 mins, but sureley the whole stadium can join in with the easy classics e.g hyms, swansea song, clap clap city, la la la swansea, just cant get enough.
the east can provide the constant noise and the rest join in for the songs above it would sound great. the whole stadium singing sounds insane actually. |

its crazy how people have different opinions on football. I thought pablo was our worst player followed by jdg. pablo does not attack defenders enough. hes supposed to be taking players on with quick feet in tight spaces, but all he does his pass the ball backwards to angel.
dyer made a big difference, his pace and willingness to take on the left back was what we miss. routledge looked a far better player in the second half when he drove on with the ball as well. somehing havnt done enough this season.
landed with the 3 points though. |

This is good news, it needs to be done. you cant attract bigger players and managers if we continue to hve the smallest stadium in the league, especially with the scum building on to theirs. swansea and cardiff are both gonna attract far more youngsters now than they used to with the success of both, so it is vital that we can offer seats for prem games when they are or we will end up losing fans.
even if we go down which i dont think we will, we are in a good position to come back up. the first phase at least should go ahead regardless of what happens.
This is another bit of progress for our club and is vital if we are to continue our growth. |

tuesday will be the first time we have experienced a 6 pointer for years and years. I worry most will get too anxious about the team not playing well etc.
Its a massive game on tuesday lets get behind the team untill the final whistle, even if we go a goal down keep singing and getting behind the team. Those who dont believe this makes a difference are wrong. positive energy needs to make its way to the pitch. I remeber the crowd playing a massive part getting us back in games against chelsea and spurs in the past.
There will be hardly any fulham there so lets just hear us supporting the team encouraging them, no trying to wind up the small amount of fulham fans, no anti-english chants, no mention of the scummers just getting behind our team making enough noise as possible. |

i have to agree. these 2 being talked about show a massive lack of ambition. what manager are we gonna attract when we hav ngog upfornt. As i mentioned in another thread, this seems like a huw jenkins player not laudrups. I doubt ml even knows who these two are. I dont think huw wants to let him spend money as he knows he will be gone in the summer.
ngog doesnt even score in the championship for god sake. |

the press just jump on a negative vibe and run with story after story. they luv kicking people when they are down and especially when its a team or person who was tipped to do well. The story of laudrup going at the end of the season aint a new one for us connected with the club, we all expect him to leave this year. hope the club are alreadey looking at managers.
if we get 9 points from the next four games we wont here a single story about swansea again.
my concern is huw is not giving laudrup money in this window which could affect us. Id like laudrup to pull out the bag a loan player that will push us on till the end of the season e.g siggy and borini |

people amaze me on here. calling for laudrup to go is stupid. weve had a tough run of games since the last win. we should have beat villa but the rest are the top sides in the country.
lets be honest we started realy well. if that penalty is given or bonys shot had gone in i would have backed us to win that game. We got like 9 players out and playing a central defender in midfield. If we are still on the same points at the end of feb i will eat my hat.
we are in a fight to stay up though and our fans seem to be the least up for it out of everyone. need to get behind the team these next few games. the crowd defo plays a part in these type of games.
i dont know what the obsession with donelly is on here. he obviously aint good enough to be playing premier league football. |

anybody who would be happy to change the name of the club is a idiot. no financial benifit, its just one step closer to becoming like america where you can pick up a franchise and move it to london etc.
nice to know some of our fans wouldnt have the fight if this happened and would be happy to bend over. |

gary monk wont be our next manager. if we were back in league 1 then maybe give him a shot, but u cant give a man with no experience of management or playing much at the top leval a job in the prem. Im sure we will stay in the league so will be in a too good position to be employing gary monk as manager.
he needs to be involved with the first team on the coaching side or managing the reserves at least to before hes considered.
i dont think laudrup will go at the end of the season unless a job comes up for him. not sure there will be so many jobs around as there were last season. |

great for the season ticket holders yes.
not so great for the people who havnt got a season ticket as none available, but go to everygame tickets are available, more than enough away games, every cup and euro game and some euro away games, but still get charged 30 quid likethe rest of the part timers.
would have liked to have seen a discount for the people who bought the block of 3 games as well, but at least they are starting to give somethig back to the fans even if im not part of that. |

cant beleive some of you think like that. without playing these big teams in europe we could finsish as high as 9th then or even 8th if we are lucky enough to get knocked out of the domestic cups early. i cant wait for that excitment of a season. |

got a bad feeling they will get rid of mckay and get in a better manager. Even though tan is a power mad idiot most people dont care about stuff like that and would go there as its a job in the prem. Do u think zola for example would turn down a premier league job? i think not.
however it also wouldnt suprise me to see him appoint somone he is close to or has power over. Obv doesnt like the fans liking mckay.
