First: Shelvey was doing those long passes in the first game - and through the Whole pre-season as well. Nobody spoke of ultra attacking. JdG Didn't make a single forward pass for the entire game.
All games BTW are about not losing, it's a matter of approach.
And fact: nobody was getting ahead of Bony, No full back at the BYline and no midfielders in the box: because the game sucked. Jdg sucked above everybody else, as he's been doing a long long time, also before pre-season |

Yeah, technically inside! And so is a Zoo, a parkinglot or maybe even a public Beach. Next thing they're going to ban smoking in public Places too. This wich-hunt must stop!
Soon they'll be tracking Down beer drinkers, fat-food eaters or people who don't Work out on a regular basis; put them in concentration-camps. Then you'll be all alone with a halo around your head eating a carrot! |

Most of all Shelvey reminded me of Stefan Effenberg, when he was in his peak playing for Bayern Munich. The attitude, the vision, the long passing and the obvious madness in his eyes!
Shelvey under Laudrups guidance --> he's bound to be a legend, maybe not just for Swansea, but also for England XI - could become a World class player as I mentioned Effernberg and the likes of him before... |
