Was just thinking hes played more than 100 times for us, yes he has been limited but has always given 100%... fair play... Never the most skilled but always committed, even though he has taken a lot of abuse nearly every time hes played.
Talks have begun regarding a potential return to Wigan Athletic for Queens Park Rangers defender James Perch (above, left), the Sun reports (Monday edition, page 49).
Bournemouth were handed a £7.6m fine for breaching Financial Fair Play rules after accruing huge losses last season en route to Premier League promotion.
keepers 1. Green - Would like to keep him this season genuine player but prone to a couple of mistakes which he normally does not get away with. 2. Pearch - solid pro will do a job for us 3. Onhua - solid pro prone to a few rash decisions 4. Hill - we need to get younger here and I believe we are trying to sign the bolton guy 5. Konchesky - dunno why we went down that route hes over 30 and probably on a big wage. 6. Luongo - Decent player with bags of potential hope he filfulls it 7. Henry - funny enough I think he is better at prem level than championship, should have started Faurlin 8. Phillips - Still hope he satays but home he gets match fit and gets it in his head he is playing for qpr and is not glancing at the prem 9. Austin - Hope he stays, hes our best chance of having a decent season 10. Mackie - Full of effort 11. Chery - i have big hopes for him...
Subs JET - needs to show more Polter - I hope we give him a chance...
Gladwin ... wondering why he was not even on the bench
I would also like us to treat the league cup with some respect and would like a cup run this season...
although they have signed 2 replacements already (Ryan Taylor and Sam Clucas) hopefully this will mean no one will run away with the league and it will be fairly close at the top so we may have a shot at the playoffs
With a couple of weeks to go we need a sub keeper, a left, right and at least one center back. So before we start trawling championship manager for wonderkids (now that samba has retired cherno not the fat slow one we already paid a fortune to) has anyone any idea's who we will get?
For right back I reckon it will be the spurs guy we have been linked with for the rest I have no ideas
GK McCarthy (I think Green will leave) RB ? Furlong (We need someone with experience here also) CB ? need a new one -Onhua (Liability) CB ? need a new one -Caulker(hopefully someone will buy him ) LB Yun (not as good as I thought he was, switches off defensively) MR Phillips (matt hopefully he stays not swp) MC ? MC ? ML ? AM Fer (if he stays) CF Austin (Said he had a contract I would keep him 20 goals hard to find)
Basically I would keep McCarthy, Fer, Phillips and Austin from today's team. Even if McCarthy did not inspire confidence at times today
At home we will be lucky to win 2 or 3 games as we are gonna be playing all the teams that beat us away and away we play so defensive we will be lucky to win 1 or 2 games... So given that has anyone any ideas what ones we are gonna win...
Plus I though if we had beat palace and swansea we would have been set... we didn't doh
Also I believe Pardew will save Palace and Pulis will save the Baggies so who else is gonna drop.. Leicester and WBA ?
