I have used that expression to friends who hail from the North West thinking they would know what I meant and no one knew what I was talking about. I think in the urban dictionary it refers to the word as a purely rochdalian term.
Looks like it's a bit of overkill to me. Traffic is flowing freely near the cem. However there is a car stretched across the pavement in the cemetery wall. (The place where they bury dead people not the pub)
I rarely fill up at a supermarket. Someone once told me they put more silicone? In than other garages and its not good for your engine. Don't know whether that is true or not.
I think there was a film (western?) In the 50s named "she wore a yellow ribbon" don't know if that was anything to do with the song. Tony Orlando and Dawn also sung "knock 3 times" both songs karaoke classics.
