Good summary Nick. Halftimeorange is correct tho. I had to watch the game from my sickbed and from the TV coverage Che Adams was bloody awful. Correct me if i'm wrong but didn't Puel himself say to expect a couple of new faces prior to the Boufal signing? If so then it suggests the powers that be are aware of shortfallings and subsequently failed in their attempt to recruit, so i question the assumption that everything has gone according to plan.
Of course if we were being held to ransom by unscrupulous agents and we refused to back down then quite right too, and praise should be afforded.... |
