What are the best QPR Podcasts out there? I've been listening to the West London Sport one with Kevin Gallen, which is pretty good. It has good insight from Gallen and the two journalists. I came across another one called W12 Podcast which isn't bad too. I used to listen to Open All Rs but it seems there are quite a few more now. |

Always thought he was one of our better players in the premier league. Thought Hughes actually got him playing well (at home mainly). He was on the left i think of a front three with mackie and helguson |

Have heard loads of players who have worked with him say he is a great coach.....and he is well respected in the game for his coaching experience. But obviously you know this is a "myth" ............because he got stitched up by Fernandes being given that job, told to build long term then TF tweeting about promotion and then given loads of grief by some of our idiotic fans for not being top of the league. You obviously know a lot more about his coaching abilities though....presume you have worked with him? |

Re FFP don’t we have parachute payments? Not sure why we can’t meet FFP if we spend money but Sheffield Wednesday, Derby and Brighton can? FFP is a joke anyway. Don’t see why you can decide what an owner can spend. |

Major contributor......that is a joke right? Out of all the terrible signings we have made....Sandro has to be the worst |

Agree Wilkins wasted the money but seriously?....you think that team should 'easily' stayed up? Come on.....2 strikers just turned 20 with barley any experience, a pretty awful keeper and a fairly average midfield. Plus what about the rest of the squad? To say that team should have easily stayed up is ridiculous |

No the bank loan is still there secured against the ground. At the end of the day it's bank debt that is the risk, as if the bank call it in or the debt can't be serviced it's a problem. Shareholder debt (although doesn't look great on the balance sheet) isn't an issue really as it would need the shareholders to demand it back and put the club into liquidation. If they get rid of the bank debt then fair play to them. |
| Forum Thread | Lee Hoos - CEO with football expereince at 11:16 6 Nov 2015
Perhaps having CEO in place with football experience (for the first time in a while) may mean our manger recruitment process is better this time? We might actually have a shortlist of candidates and actually properly interview them? My understanding is that Hoos has a decent record of appointing managers. In the past it's been Flavio, Tony and Phil Beard - with no experience in this area but Hoos is a football CEO. Although saying that it will probably be who the fans on twitter tell Tony who it should be! |
| Forum Reply | 'Clueless' Ramsey at 16:38 26 Oct 2015
One of the things these people giving Ramsey grief seem to forget is before him we had a manager who reached the last 16 of the champions league and won the Swiss league, supposedly one of the best managers around who has never finished outside the top ten and a guy who reached the champions league quarter finals and was meant to be the next England manager. Yes they all struggled and were given loads of money to spend. Hughes spent a fortune and didn’t win a game in his second season and Redknapp the biggest budget in the league and crept into the play offs. Yes we know all this…..but my point is all these idiots abusing Ramsey….who would they want in? Why would they do any better? Just look at the names above…….experienced managers with a good track record — they couldn’t do it. It is the club that is the problem….lack of discipline and standards plus terrible infrastructure and a clueless (albeit nice) chairman (or co chairman!). The only successful manager was Warnock who was able to work in conditions that were far better than any of the above had. In any event, it was still very short term which meant when we were promoted we had nothing in place that other premier league clubs had. What scouting had been done? None I think — meaning we were saddled with the shower of shite Warnock brought in (Luke Young, Bothroyd, Barton, SWP to name a few). I saw someone on another post saying we should be like Norwich or Swansea who were promoted with us……………in an ideal world yes but our club was a million miles away from them and still is. I had people round me calling for Warnock to come back — yes just when the club is trying to put foundations in place we should appoint a 66 year old manager. Yes very long term….the irony being the idiots shouting for Warnock were probably the same people having a go at Redknapp regarding not playing kids. Because Warnock would really be keen in building a squad long term. I suppose the point I’m making is these championship manager idiots having a go at Ramsey think someone else would do better but the evidence is that this is not the case. What is the definition of insanity again? I had idiots near me going on about getting Sherwood, Rodgers and various other names in. Would they want to come here and also why would they do any better? I just find some of these idiots clueless. |

I always wondered why pubs or anyone for that matter can't get foreign satellite TV. Seems unfair that someone in Europe or the USA can watch English premier league football for a fraction of the price that UK residents have to pay. Surely it must be against some EU law on freedom of capital or something! |

"feels like it is being run properly for the first time in a fair while". .........exactly and that's because he's not about. People that know what they're doing are being left to do their jobs, hence, why no Ji Sung Park's, Joey Barton's or Assou-ekotto's turning up.....and no embarrassing dream manger tweets or Mark Hughes type managers. |
| Forum Thread | Since Tony Fernandes has been out the picture at 10:00 3 Sep 2015
I think the biggest factor in the seemingly improved situation at the club is that TF is no longer running the show. I know he is meant to be “Co Chairman” but I get the impression that it is Ruben now making all the decisions along with the new CEO. His twitter comments also seem to have reduced. The last time the club were successful was when Briatorie took a back seat and Amit took over — hopefully the same again and it stays this way and he isn’t let back in the building! |

Normally enjoy them....but just listened to that one must have been the most borring one ever. I must of missed it when they actually talked about the football. |

You just know when we play them they will get a free kick, and despite taking 5,000 for us plus 6,000 corners and never clearing the wall or first man, he will bang it in the top corner and score |
