| Forum Thread | The FA Trophy... at 15:14 12 Feb 2020
After getting relegated last season I thought that football would be dire this season but I'm pleasantly surprised at good it's been with far less drama queens on the field than in the league and players usually giving their all,one of the benefits of the relegation is being included in the FA Trophy,a cup that is sniggered at by some but I've got to say that I've surprisingly enjoyed, one of the best goals I've ever seen at Meadow Lane was scored in this cup by Doyle not long back,a goal from almost the half way line that went in in the 90th minute and last Saturday and down to nine players we beat Yeovil 2-1 away to get into the last eight (8) of the competition, two games from a day at Wembley so every cloud has a silver lining, now that it looks like Dale are relatively safe and no longer in any cup completions how about letting by gones be by gones and be armchair supporters for Notts in the cup,it's time for forgiving and forgetting All together now I had a wheelbarrow, the wheel fell off I had a wheelbarrow, the wheel fell off I had a wheelbarrow, the wheel fell off I had a wheelbarrow, the wheel fell off County! County! County! |

Next Monday the first round proper of the FA Cup is drawn live on BBC2 at 7pm,obviously everybody wants a home draw but is there any club that you would like to be pulled out against? I'm presuming that there will be blank ball in the bag in memory of absent friends to even up the club's drawn |
| Forum Thread | Just how well are Dale doing? at 11:36 30 Aug 2019
I've been posting on here a fair few years now and wondered if these last few seasons are the best that Rochdale AFC have experienced, there was some flirting with promotion not long back and who can forget when you just escaped relegation in the final seconds of the season, you've made the news from the state of your pitch to financing Spanish Dale to watch you play, taking on Spurs home and away and arguably a bigger game yet to come against Utd,your finances look stable and for a small club you seem to be holding your own in League One,other clubs who you have had grievances with in the past have been relegated to non league or finished completely, have Dale had a better feel good period in football than this in the past? |
| Forum Thread | Garry Thompson at 19:56 8 Aug 2019
Bradford PA sacked Thompson today after two five nil defeats, now I know that is a terrible start to the season but to sack the manager after only two games in charge is ridiculous to me,remember back in the day when they got a season to prove their worth before getting the dreaded "clubs backing" Will there be a day when someone only gets one game to get it right before being called in the office? |
| Forum Thread | Let's look on the bright side... at 20:13 5 Jan 2019
If Dale get relegated and Notts stay up then we both be in League Two on the tenth anniversary of the season that can't be mentioned and start all over again with no ill feelings |
| Forum Thread | Let's lighten the mood a little.... at 10:35 2 Jan 2019
Anybody made any New Years resolutions this year and how long do you think that they will last? I've decided to finally go for an eye test, been putting it off for years but a few months ago I was driving along the road when I saw an ambulance with its head lights on in my mirror,I pulled over to let it pass only to see an ice cream van go flying past |

| Forum Thread | Bury on Saturday at 17:42 17 Oct 2018
Notts visit Gigg Lane on Saturday and after winning the past three games on the bounce I'm confident that we will be giving them a right pummeling,I fully expect lots of praise and acceptance on here at last when it happens |
| Forum Thread | FA CUP at 09:49 16 Oct 2018
The first round of the FA Cup proper is being drawn live on BBC 2 on Monday at 7pm,so who do you fancy getting drawn against,a club doing well in league one or the chance of a banana skin with a non league side? |
| Forum Thread | The 92 club at 02:34 15 Oct 2018
Years ago when I was younger and dafter I thought that it would be a good idea to try and complete the 92 club challange,I got through about half of them going by the programmes in the box that I dug out and noticed one from the original Wimbledon ground and it got me thinking, does this still count as one.of the 92 as they.no.longer exist, does MK Dons take it's place or even AFC Wimbledon even though I've never been, does clubs that have been relegated still count like Harlepool and what about new clubs like Forest Green Rovers who wasn't a league club when I started but are now, where does it end, should it be renamed the 100 club, anybody on here completed it? |

That I can remember where there has been no reports of widespread hooliganism which is quite surprising considering the amount of scaremongering that the tabloids did leading up to the WC,is it because the fans are too scared of the infamous Russian police and what's happened to the Russian hooligans that ran amok a while back? |
| Forum Thread | Earthquake at 10:27 10 Jun 2018
Did anyone feel that earthquake last night in Rochdale, there was a rumble and the house gave a shake and felt like something had dropped off the side of the house |
| Forum Thread | England shirts at 11:35 8 Jun 2018
I thought that I may buy the new England shirt but was surprised to see that the prices range from £60-£90,this is surely nothing more than a rip off because of the World Cup,I pity parents with kids as their shirts start at £40 How much does it cost to produce a shirt,a tenner maybe and I'm presuming that they are going to get more orders for England shirts than Notts did for theirs and they knocked them out for £40 each |
| Forum Thread | Ayup lads at 12:31 3 Jun 2018
You lot keeping well,it got a bit close on the last day didn't it? Unfortunately the mighty Pies won't be joining you next season due to the fact that we was robbed by officials who needed to go to specsavers |
