Didn’t see much this year but did get very sweaty at The Bronx and Green Lung at the joiners. Also got completely covered in purple jizz at GWAR at engine rooms. |

I didn’t go as I’m absolutely riddled with COVID, and couldn’t find anyone to take my season ticket, partly as I only tested positive Wednesday morning.
It’s very easy to setup a free Amazon prime trial, and midweek in December isn’t a great time for a fixture. These are just excuses though and don’t explain the apathy around the club. I can’t find someone interested in taking my ticket for Saturday. Even my old man didn’t want them and he usually snaps them up whenever I can’t go. |

Independent record shops are thriving, as are boutique Blu-ray labels. HMV’s mistake was positioning itself as a megastore and selling high priced merchandise and poor quality tat. A smaller shop should help reposition themselves. [Post edited 25 Sep 2021 7:31]

Was on a school residential that week and I’m still absolutely gutted I didn’t get to go. Did manage to get another teacher to cover for me so I could sit somewhere quiet and watch it on my phone. Not quite the same as being there but the best I could do. Did get to show the goals to the few Saints supporting kids the next morning though, which was fun. |

When I missed the Sunderland 8 nil game, Number_58 told me I’d never get to see Saints score eight goals in a game, and he was right - I was having a slash when we scored the final goal. Great night though - and I even saw Nick from afar in the car park. |

The fee is not for winning. The cost is the entertainment. Every year the bbc get their money’s worth from the viewing public. It costs less than one episode of a sitcom.

I got there too early and was told I could queue in any gate, despite my ticket saying yellow. All 8 queues in purple then filtered into one bloke scanning our tickets, which was a bit shit. No one checking anything or watching numbers inside. Don’t even care about the result. Was just great to be back. |
