Dykes and/or Armstrong offered far more than this fella. He'll never be a striker in this league whilst a duck has a hole in its @rse, but it's the complete (and shocking) lack of effort that annoys me more than anything |

And it's looked like that ever since his first game for us.
I think it's a combination of laziness and not being good enough which leads to the appearance of not wanting to be here.
Better off dropping him out of the first team squad completely for now and, as someone else suggested, seeing if he can do anything in the development squad. |

Well, he's certainly not good at being a central midfielder, that much is certain. I'd start the youngster Morgan who came on in the 2nd half today. He at least wanted the ball and wanted to pass and move forwards |

Completely (but respectfully, as everyone has their own opinion) disagree with this. All I witnessed was Madsen 'hiding' in positions where it was physically impossible to pass the ball towards him without it being cut out by one of their players (because he was 'hiding' behind or between them).
By comparison, the young lad who came on 2nd half had no problem at all receiving the ball from our centre backs........ because he didn't 'hide'. Simple. [Post edited 19 Oct 20:59]

Agree that we absolutely must not look at changing manager again. We've got to allow Marti the full season irrespective of what happens and, if we go down, he gets next season too |

A horrific signing. An absolutely woeful player. Him and Celar the worst players in the squad. Goodness knows who thought he would be a good signing.
The young kid who came on as a sub did more in half an hour than Madsen has done all season. |

I was in Nagpur when he made his debut in 2012. I'm heading out to Pakistan for the 3rd Test and then New Zealand for all 3 Tests. Looking forward to seeing more Root runs

Yep, that's about the size of it. Summer budget blown on players on players who aren't good enough. We've gone backwards. Would also prefer Armstrong and/or Dykes up front to either of Frey and/or Celar (the latter of whom looks absolutely dire) |

Yes Dunne was a terrible CB before he was transitioned to a decent RB. He needs to go back to RB as soon as possible |

They've already done this with cricket. It's an absolute joke. I love cricket, but other than England Test Matches I don't watch it anymore. Just thousands of meaningless matches for tv and advertising £.

No, I've just been to the game tonight and utterly dismayed by what I've seen (yet again) from Celar. I never want to see Celar play for us again unless and until he is at least prepared to stick his foot and/or head in a few times. He looks completely disinterested.
Alfie Lloyd, on the other hand, looks like he could have something. Alfie should now be ahead of him in the pecking order [Post edited 17 Sep 22:31]
