My answer would be an unequivocal YES! Apparently, it took him a little while to change Wycombe’s fortunes but then look at what he achieved. Reading their site today, Wycombe are as gutted that Dobson has come with Gaz as the departure of the main man.
I genuinely think we’ve got a pair of diamonds here,but Rome wasn’t built in a day. |

I recently read “Close Quarters” the story of Wycombe’s 2019-20 season by the journalist Neil Harman.
Was hugely impressed by Ainsworth (and Dobson’s) work ethic, football knowledge but above all man management.
Even though there are structural problems at QPR, I predict the duo will do well here. Can’t wait for Saturday now!

We won 3-1.
We lined up with a 4 at the back.

6 Masterson (capt)

9 Kelman
10 Duke Mckenna
11 Alfa
First goal was scored by the impressive Jude Boyd. Liked what I saw of him. Can't remember who scored the second! SDM notched the third.
No other standout performances apart from Jude Boyd. Kelman anonymous. SDM gave and received some "meaty" tackles".
Hampton's goal was a beauty scored by their number 7 Brandon Barzey. Looks raw but a talent.
Quite a few Rs there. |

Thread | Buying away tickets online

I’ve now tried to buy tickets from the website for 3 away games.
I’ve had the same problem every time. The moment I select number of tickets and go to select area ( lower stand etc) , it tells me that I’m timed out and to start again. This is despite being a nanosecond after selecting the number of tickets!
Anyone else had this problem?
PS Bizarrely has only happened when buying away tickets online! |

Just read that the football league have agreed with Sky that all home games(and midweek away) in the Championship can be streamed by season ticket holders.
Away games(on the weekend) can be streamed for a £10 fee.As can the League Cup.
The only games ST holders wont be able to stream are the one that are on Sky.
The article is notably quiet on how non-season ticket holders can access the steaming service.
Also says it's subject to the agreement of individual clubs.

I see we’re linked with Rob Dickie of Oxford and Charlie Goode of Northampton.
Having watched the playoffs, both these centre backs impressed me.
Are they long term targets of ours I wonder, or post Grant Hall, are we after anyone that’s looked good on the telly? |

Interesting interview with Lee Hoos in the Times today.
Twp particular things of note. We WILL have piped noise at the ground today "QPR chant specific"Hoos said. Hopefully that will lift our players.
Also, contingency plans are in place for social distancing at LR next season .3,700 fans in the ground. But which 3,700? |

I'm in Perth for The Ashes( yes it is bl@@dy hot and yes I do expect to hand them back until next time in England)
Anyhow.... I see that our next 2 games are on TV here. The Blackpool game on setanta and the Leicester game on setanta plus.
A long shot, but does anyone know of a venue in Perth that may show either?
