In that case you will never stop, which for you is depressing and for the rest of us (or at least some of us) infuriating. The good news is that I have recently discovered www.itsbeautifuloutside.co.uk which is a more uplifting take on all things SFC. |

Any chance of you stopping your ridiculous fixation on errors. You could pick an error in every goal that has ever been scored. Get in the real world. |
| News Comment | What Went On For Saints In The Transfer Window at 11:39:36
Our squad has shown that we are more than capable of competing at this level, so should we really be splashing more money when our income is relatively modest by prem standards? |
| News Comment | The Enigma That Is Ramirez at 12:35:03
I believe that he will be worth the money. I would rather we invested in promising youth than bang average older players with "premier league experience". What I'm saying is give him a reasonable chance. 18 appearances is way too early to judge. RVP took about 3 seasons to really fire! |
| News Comment | The Enigma That Is Ramirez at 11:41:38
Bloody hell - give the kid a chance. He's 22, doesn't speak the language and never played in England before. It might be a couple of years before we see the best of him - don't expect miracles straight away. Sometimes you come out with some real tosh. Let him find his feet and make a call at the end of next season as to whether he is right for us. |
| News Comment | Saints At Wigan The Verdict at 10:48:20
Agree with TimSaint. The defenders switched off, though we should have really been out of sight by then - you could easily pin the blame on us not scoring. That aside, I thought it was a really encouraging performance and am quite excited about this new approach. We were on the front foot from the first minute in a way that I have not seen before. It was the same as the 2nd half against Man U and awesome to see us going for the jugular regardless of being away from home and who the opposition are. When I think back to Liverpool away it is great to see how much of a difference this slight change makes. I think someone else might have said this on another site, but I get the impression that if we click then regardless of opposition, we are going to win. There are bound to be matches where we get taken to the cleaners, though seeing us swarm all over the opposition and chuck men forward in attack is a sight to behold. Can't wait for the City game! Anyone else think J-Rod has looked particularly good in the last couple of matches. On a separate note, it's good to see us sending the kids out on loan - I think that will really help with their development. |
| News Comment | Saints Need To Be Decisive In The Next Week at 15:02:48
I'm not worried in the slightest and think that we would stay up without additional signings. Your comparison between Jos and Forren is going to look pretty wide of the mark once you have seen him play. Relax - there's still a week to go and NC will be desperate to back his new man. We are fine as things stand and will be even better in a weeks time. |
| News Comment | Saints V Everton The Verdict at 13:55:37
Feels like a big relief to get that game out of the way, and had Rickie been his usually deadly self then we would have been out of sight by half time. I get a bit miffed when the press continuously goes on about anyone we play having the worst performance of the season - do people not realise that is because we don't allow them to??! Now that the dust has settled I am looking forward to seeing how the rest of the season pans out and am quite optimistic. Like the idea of a high temp pressing game and having no fear when playing the big boys. I'm dreaming of a win at Old Trafford!! |

He sounds very handy - the link to The Mirror article that somoene sent round yesterday makes good reading |
| News Comment | Nigel Adkins A Thank You From The Fans at 15:38:11
My anger is for Cortese. That is one cold mofo. Booing Poch would be crazy - he's out of work and we are an amazing club. I will be fully behind him. As an aside Guillem Balague earlier tweeted about how great he is and how excited we should be. He is usually pretty accurate, so here's hoping. Shame he doesn't speak English! In one foul swoop we have gone from everyones 2nd favourite team to everyones most hated. Nice one NC |
| News Comment | Saints Sit Back And Watch This Weekend. at 13:08:55
I actually didn't mind when Pardew got sacked, which I suppose makes me a huge hypocrite, though this leaves me disgusted (I see the illogical nature of this post). |
| News Comment | Saints Sit Back And Watch This Weekend. at 12:39:26
To say I am gutted would be an understatement. I truly think that Adkins is the best manager we have had in the 25yrs I have been supporting them. Honest, decent and doesn't come out with the same sh*t that most other managers do. More importantly he had us playing great football. For us to be where we are in the league with our CB's is a miracle. We were getting better every game - what the fcuk is NC on??! The Everton game should be boycotted. So angry. |
| News Comment | Saints V Chelsea The Verdict at 13:15:54
The team area really coming together nicely. So proud of them - from their unwavering belief in the passing game despite a baptism of fire in the league, to their resilience and disciplinary record. If we can sign a couple of new centre backs then the sky will be the limit. Bloody love that Nigel Adkins. |
| News Comment | Saints At Aston Villa The Verdict at 14:43:07
This all seems a bit gloomy. Considering we had Hooiveld at CB (who is a complete liability and unsettles the rest of the defence) with Yoshida for the first time, I thought it was a great result. Yes Villa missed a load of chances in the second half and our penalty was fortunate, though it is good to see our luck turning. Winning when not playing well is seen as a triumph for most teams, though there seem to be a lot of miserable saint fans on hear. At this point in the season I would much rather this outcome than us playing well and coming away with nothing. Will be nice for the nerves to have a game to nothing on Wednesday. Anything less than a drubbing will be a plus. |
| News Comment | Could Jack Cork Be Pressed Into Central Defensive Duties At Villa at 08:16:49
I agree - this makes a lot of sense. It would have been interesting to see if he tried this out at the beginning of the season had Cork not been injured. He fits the mould of the ball playing CB that Adkins likes and I think we would be stronger with him there than Hooiveld as Davis or W-P will do a good enough job in midfield. |
| News Comment | SaInts Face Central Defensive Crisis at 17:33:56
I'm surprised that so many of you are surprised that nothing has happened yet. 99% of deals happen in the last couple of days of the window. Every window it's the same. Should we not sign anyone then I will gladly eat my words. Then I will swear lots and start to worry. |
