I just don't get why the owner of a football club enjoys upsetting the fans, after all we are the paying customers. He has only damaged the club in the long run by reducing ST numbers.
If he had signed Riga & then quality players a lot sooner I think the number of ST sold would have increased back to last years figure. A lot of fans just wanted to see a fair amount of investment but instead saw none!
I don't regret not renewing as I wont have to see Oyston grinning, sat in his directors box happy with his millions in the bank!!!!
Agree we are making headway, all far to late for me though! Just cant believe we are in this position with only two days before the start of the season.
I think the number of tickets sold for Forest tell you how most Blackpool fans feel. I reckon we would have sold a few thousand tickets if we felt like we had a chance of winning. I feel like the buzz of the new season has been taken away by someone's need to save on a few weeks wages.
Its the first game of the season and its going to be the first time most of the team have played together! Its not an ideal start, but like you say, once the players gel and start to play the football the manager wants then things might look up.
