The owners need to calculate the cost of firing him now in the hope we stay up against the cost of being relegated under him (and then, presumably, sacking him anyway) 🤔 |

Never thought I’d say this but I’d rather have lost than gained a point last night as it might just have saved his @rse… for now 😞 The writing for me was already on the wall when I witnessed League One Bristol Rovers do a job on us at The Liberty in July, followed by our defeat away to Oxford 🤦 Since then we have luckily drawn against Brum & Cov, miserably lost to the Wurzels, Baggies & PNE, embarrassed ourselves in Legoland and now surrendered 2 points away to the worst QPR team I can remember. Plumb Duff has no character, charisma, passion nor nous. He has no game plan, no style, no pattern nor - dare I utter it - process. He’s destroying the confidence of players who appear to neither understand him, trust him nor like him. THE MAN. MUST. GO. 🤦🦢🦢🦢 [Post edited 20 Sep 2023 20:51]

On the '14th' anniversary of our legendary win at Anfield in the Cup, on our way to THAT semi-final at Villa Park. Before my time but the old man was there that day and often spoke about it. And I'm pretty sure he'll be looking down from above and cheering / yelling / swearing us on after that refereeing disgrace on Wednesday . "C'MON THE SWANS!" [Post edited 28 Feb 2020 21:39]

First home game I'll have missed in donkey's. Gutted! Good excuse though, doing the 22 mile Gower MacMarathon between Rhossili and Mumbles Cricket Club for MacMillan Cancer Support instead. Awful comms for most of the hike too, so gonna be relying on texts from mates!! C'MON SWANS! [Post edited 12 Sep 2019 11:25]

"Let's start the talking; Wake Wilder from his bed. Demotion's sleep-walking While we're...cutting the squad to shreds. Call United's secretary... Can you wire the cash across the sea? OLLIE McBURNIE'S NOT HERE TO STAY, OLLIE McBURNIE IS ON HIS WAY AND WE WOULD RATHER BE ANYWHERE ELSE BUT 'THERE' TODAY. There'll be a cheque - via Swansea - It's sure to crack a smile. We'll have a grand ole' party Go out and dine in DC-style... Only takes one willing payer, One more Rooney. One less Swans player. OLLIE McBURNIE'S NOT HERE TO STAY, OLLIE McBURNIE IS ON HIS WAY AND WE WOULD RATHER BE ANYWHERE ELSE BUT 'THERE' TODAY. Baston is up for grabs, Mike Hoorn's been keeping tabs. He could be the next in line, Over-flow our bucks and dimes With the cash from J.Ayew. And Dan James. And our 'nine'. If we sense danger In our 'professional career', A deal could be arranged With just a word in Mr.Birch's ear. If we're outta luck with inward fees We could sell the Under Twenty-Threes. OLLIE McBURNIE'S NOT HERE TO STAY, OLLIE McBURNIE IS ON HIS WAY AND WE WOULD RATHER BE ANYWHERE ELSE BUT 'THERE' TODAY...... R.D.M. 30-7-19 |

Now then... Hull first fixture of the season and a game against Reading at the very end. This has got '2010-11' written all over it |

THIS^^^ I'm chuffed to bits 'Super Waynee' has stayed. Let's hope he keeps up the great form he showed under Potter who, in fairness, really got his confidence up. And well done to Trevor Birch who's begun lifting the gloom at SCFC in the last few days with his refreshing openness and honesty. |

I'm very optimistic that my predictions for the club we all love will come true:- Relegation to League 1 a year from now. The Yanks being still here until the last parachute payment's been delivered. Though I do believe neither Coleman nor Pulis will be our next manager, thankfully. There, that's about as positive as i can be.. |

Gutted. A true ska legend. Cannot believe he was only 56 though, was he really only 16 when The Beat first hit the charts? Incredible. RIP Rog. [Post edited 27 Mar 2019 9:56]
