We don't know how much of a gift Widdell is until he has played for us. If he isn't up to it, then he is a very expensive present. That money could have been spent on 3 or 4 decent Championship players to haul us up this season. Martinez and Jones brought us Bodde, Angel, Scotland and De Vries for around £100k. |

Have you seen their new training facilities? They are a huge state of the art complex. I know that doesn't count towards the fair play rules, but that is a hell of an investment for a club who average less than 20k gates. You only have to look at our demise to see how rapidly the money can disappear |

People did look at the summer transfer business as positive at the time. But how many of those players still look like positive recruits? Vigoroux and Franco? Eom and Vipotnik look terrible in general. Ronald has been here a year and is a shade of the player he was. The main investors must see that Williams is devaluing their investment at an alarming rate |

You have to really worry about the club setup if Notts County have a far better scouting process than we do. 7 years in the Prem, 6 in the Championship and we have nothing in place. We are being bettered by a League 2 club either a glorified version of Football Manager on the PC Where did all of the money go? |

So we don't want a full tone DoF? We are happy to have a part time one? Plus, that is owned by the directors of a rival. So, we are happy that our DoF works for the owners of a rival team? It opens a lot of questions about Colemans judgement and aspirations for the club when the DoF is some what indebted to the owners of a rival team in a lower division |

Moneyball was about looking at the edge case stats to see if a player was being undervalued. An example would be a player who makes high numbers of balls into the final third, but has low assists. In that it may show that the player is creative but the headline stats don't show it. Running Match simulations on differing line ups is way beyond anything on the market currently |

Our current form is 4 points from 8 games, and let's face it we didn't look convincing for them. On current form we are looking at 7 points from 14 games. It's really not enough |

If he was worried about them being tired, then why not start your best side at home, hope go get a lead. Then rest them for the end if the second half. Instead we treated the home fans to a below par, lacklustre defeat. Hardly going to bring the crowds back. We should be beating a poor Wednesday side at home. |

Darlings wayward pass was nowhere near a white shirt. He wasn't under any pressure. The only player he could have been playing towards was slightly blocked off. You have to wonder if they have it so drilled into them that they must play it short, that a long option is never to even be considered. |

Would you bring in someone that we must assume he has recommended, in order to do an independent assessment of him? That's not very independent. |

Giggs could have played for England if he had wanted to. He would have strolled into their team. |

Any player playing for a Welsh club would only really be able to get into the Welsh squad on talent. Very, very few have played for England only a couple whilst we were in the Prem. The very best Welsh players were at Englush clubs and how many of them would have chosen to play for England? I don't imagine Bale would have accepted anyone other than Wales. Also, Wales would offer most of them first team international games a long time before they would have made it in the English squad. We were picking Bale long before England would have had him |
