Effect on Team Form - Momentum Changer !!
at 17:34 11 Jan 2025

Letting in 6 goals must surely affect the confidence of the defenders who played.

Terrible result but hopefully a one off and our good league form continues.
QPR are quite capable of going on another bad run after a result like this though.

Agreed Brian.
Leicester picked a strong team to win the game: we’ve rested a number of players.
Subs should’ve been made a lot earlier.
Letting in 5 goals is not good enough.
Poor result for the 4500 who braved the travel and weather.

How is he yesterday’s man? West Ham did well under him including their first ever European trophy. Ageist nonsense.

A Premier League team who have sacked their manager because they are desperate not to be relegated to the Championship are not going to appoint a Championship manager.

He’s very much a starter and clearly our number one striker.
Not many forwards have his attributes AND pace, certainly not at Championship level.

It may have been an expensively assembled squad at the time but there would have been hundreds bigger since. We didn’t spend a lot on transfer fees, just wages whereas nowadays our rivals spend a fortune on both.

Not sure how you can negatively judge Bennie after the few minutes he’s had off the bench.
Cifuentes obviously rates him to have an 18 year old on the bench so often: one for the future.

Chair still getting back to match fitness and not back to his best yet.
Behind Morgan, Frey, Field for me and on a par with Fox and Dunne.

Totally disagree about resting Dunne and Field: with Cook out they are the leaders of the team and are both in great form.
We need them tonight against a strong (albeit underperforming) team and they could if necessary be rested for the Leicester game.

Seems a decent lad and beat MVG easily.
Looks like he will dominate darts for the next decade and beyond if he wants to which will make things a bit dull IMO.

Saw one this morning: looked like made up rubbish.
Claimed Palace announced the transfer on 29th December: if they did it was VERY quiet.

Smyth should not be judged on just goals and assists.
He offers a lot more defensive support than any of the other attacking midfielders and his pace and directness is a constant outlet for us.

One of the best signings we could make this window
at 19:34 2 Jan 2025

“If the club can't tie Jimmy down to a decent length contract on much improved terms, then for me not only would that be a huge mistake, but if we saw Jimmy elsewhere in the Championship, then that would for me mean the club are sending out a very poor image about what this club is about and also would represent a very poor message to future players here that we are just a club as a temporary home for all”

If Jimmy leaves us to go to the likes of Oxford or Preston then maybe your point is valid but if he goes to the likes of Leeds, Burnley or Middlesbrough on much bigger wages than we could ever offer then there’s not much QPR can do.

Kieran Morgan - Looks So Comfortable.

Whoever identified him as a signing deserves a lot of praise.
The boy has really taken his chance and will only get better.
Love the way he always looks for a forward pass.
