Just been speaking to a couple of Halifax season ticket holders ( I work in Sowerby Bridge) They've both said that he improved a lot towards the end of the season but has a tendency to pass sideways and backwards. Not much pace either. They were both none too bothered that he has left Halifax. Time will tell I suppose. |

Afternoon All, When you say there is a list issued by the trust of members they wish to contact. I assume you mean the trust wish to contact ? I bought shares at the last offering to fans (100 I think ) I'm happy to let the trust know (and everyone else) that these are not for sale at any price. If anyone from the trust wants to get in touch via this forum, please do so. Would also like to thank all those involved with saving our club from these sharks. Up The Dale. |

I know what you mean. Train drivers will have to start opening doors for their passengers if we are not careful. Heaven forbid !!! |

I would have thought that the opening hours of the ticket office would be extended for such an important game. Most people finish work at around 5pm, so why close the ticket office at that time ? |

Unfortunately, that was my thinking. Hope not as i'm taking my young lad with me. |

There is only going to be one stand open (the new one that faces the car park) according to a Halifax fan at work. |

Halifax fan at work tells me he's Scott's brother. Luke Hogan has had a cracking season apparently, Halifax fans are sorry to see him go. |

People who don't go to watch the Dale anymore (or any other team) are amazed at the admission prices. That sad fact is that the "casual supporter" will stop going to matches altogether if prices rise only slightly higher than they are now. Hopefully the club have also thought this and will act accordingly. Full credit on keeping the season tickets at last years prices. |

As there is no increase in the cost of a season ticket, are we assuming that there is no increase for paying on the gate ? |
| Forum Reply | Nows the time to get kids in at 15:53 27 Feb 2013
I really hope the club look at the price of admission for kids for next season. My son who is now 8 has had a free season ticket for the last 3 years (under 7’s get one free with an adult season ticket) The price then goes from free to about £80 once they go past the age of 7. £80 on top of the price of my season ticket may just push the total cost too far and I may not renew. I don’t think kids who go with a full paying adult (or perhaps under 16’s in general) should pay more than a quid per game. As the price of admission goes up and up, I can only see attendances (especially for kids) going the other way. We need to be looking to the future and to try to get as many kids as possible through the gates now so that they are still coming back 5, 10, 15 years later. |

I’m seriously considering not renewing my season ticket next year (had one for the last 8 years) as it will cost another £80 or so for my son who is now 8. He’s had a free under 7’s ticket that I get with my adult ticket. Just can’t justify spending well over £400 for the two of us. We will still go to some games, just have to be a bit more selective in future. Sad times indeed. |
