Magnificent.............as we have been so poor, that defence was immense...Cook, Clark Salter Dunne a master class.............
With all their possession, they never really tested Nardi who was solid..........I said at half time this could be a turning point for us.............well done the hoops |

Well whatever happens I can say that defensive performance was on par with anything we did last season it was not only solid but in some cases epic.
Cook and JCS have been fantastic and Smyth and both Saito and Smyth have tracked back really well to protect their full backs
Not sure if we can hold out, I'm sure that Burnley will throw fresh legs on and we..........well really don't have a lot to bolster that defence on the bench
If we can come away with a point here I think it could turn our season, that defence as looked tremendous |

40 mins gone and hopefully get into half time level. For me it's been a good performance, we were never going to go there and dominate or even be on par, so we have soaked the pressure up and looked really solid.
We have come the closest with that Smyth effort, whether we can hold out is another thing |

So who is available to take over from Marti? ...............just texted the family and is telling me that there is a few grumblings with the away support...........with that team.

Unfortunately getting to the stage in life where traipsing up there is getting too much for me and my brother after Tuesday so only the young'uns are going... but woke up this morning wishing I got a ticket now.... as I would be leaving soon... there is no hope for me, but to the younger ones on here... get out while you still can!!!
Back to the game, will be in Luxembourg or somewhere to catch it later... and hopefully as said on the false 9 thread, we go for a clean sheet draw, keep it tight and pray.... but realistically can only see a 0... 2, 3 or even 4 defeat |
