Set to sign. Portuguese midfielder, aged 23, from Moreirense. |

I've just passed junction 29 of the M4; there is a red Port Vale ⚽ road sign next to the other exit signs. Anyone know why this is there? 😯 |

Swansea are looking to bring Declan John to Swansea after losing his place at Rangers to John Flanagan. |
| Forum Thread | Concerned of Swansea at 17:31 25 Jul 2018
Up until now, I've been relatively calm with events. Ship out 6 or 7 of the dross and bring in 5 ready for the start of the season. 10 days or so to go until Sheffield United and there is little or no movement either way. Plenty of talk as to departures but aside of the odd player mentioned coming in (Celina, James), there is nothing. I trust Potter and his hands may be tied at the moment but these are.... Worrying times. |
| Forum Thread | Jordi Amat at 08:31 11 Jul 2018
I'm hoping that with a new manager, he may consider staying with us for this season. At 26 and with plenty of experience, he would be an excellent addition to our team. Give him or FF (if he stays) the captaincy and play with FF, Amat and MVDH in a back three. I'd be happy with the strength of that defence with Roberts on one flank and Olsson or Govea on the other getting forward. |
| Forum Thread | Sell before we buy. at 18:09 5 Jul 2018
What is this nonsense?? We have moved on Fabianski, Ki, Mesa and Rangel. Tammy has gone back, Leon has stopped playing and almost certainly we will sell the Ayews, Bony and Mawson. So why can't we afford to buy the Yeovil Town full back until more are offloaded? ? Are we going to be in another Siggy situation and wait until a week or two before the start of the season before we sell the rest of the players to bring in new ones? Surely not. |

Swansea have a £9 bid accepted. Surely a sick joke? Please no!! |
| Forum Thread | Disabled Parking at 16:15 6 Feb 2018
Just rang the club to ask to purchase disabled parking for tonight's match as I'm taking a lad with walking and learning disabilities to the match. I was informed that they had no spaces available. To me, this is not acceptable. Anyone recommend somewhere close to the ground to park (the park and ride is probably too far for him to walk)? The Swans don't seem to make things easy for disabled fans. |
| Forum Thread | Gaitan & Amin Younes at 13:27 19 Jan 2018
Here we go. Gaitan is off to Mexico and Younes has turned us down. We are linked with quality to keep the fans interested then get involved in a race against time to bring in players of a lower ability. The club is farcical how it appears to conduct its transfer business and doesn't seem to learn. |
| Forum Thread | Swansea City - an embarrassment at 19:46 26 Dec 2017
The club are an embarrassment from the American owners to Huw Jenkins and the other directors that sold out right down to the players. For Jenkins and co to put Leon in a position where he has to manage the club is awful. Luckily Leon's status at the club will remain unaltered by this, unlike the feelings the fans have for the board. How on earth do the players earn on average £30K a week when they are stealing a living? There is really no need to name names and I hope the players read the forums to see what it means to the supporters as it obviously means nothing to 90% of the players. Swansea will get relegated, most of the team will thankfully want to leave and thankfully other mugs...I mean clubs will buy them. I long for the days when the team was made up of players who showed some passion and loyalty to the club and actually cared to put a shift in; players like Angel, Ash, Leon & Tate. It is clear these players do not care and the sooner they sod off and leave the wearing of the white shirt to those who do care, (be it the under 23's) the better. |

The man for me, excellent player, very good managerial record from Partisan to Maccabi and Watford. Would they pay compensation to Fulham though? |

Next Swans manager, just what we need. |
| Forum Thread | Andy Yiadom at 07:09 19 Aug 2017
As his move to Huddersfield broke down, I wouldn't be surprised if we moved back in for him next week. Chadli, Bony and Yiadom for probably £30 million for the trio wold leave £15-£20 million for an AM replacement. |
| Forum Thread | Paul Clement Swansea stats & next season at 14:51 14 May 2017
https://www.premierleague.com/managers/17838/Paul-Clement/overview 8 wins from 18 games and a 26 points haul. Over a season, that's a 54 or 55 points total. Well done PC, great job. A really solid base to move onto next season. Who will leave the Liberty? I would say: GK - Nordfeldt DF - Amat & Naughton? CM - Ki and / or Cork AM - Unfortunately Siggy although I really hope not. RW - Routledge, Montero, Barrow & Dyer CF - Baston We'll need a new reserve GK, a RB, CB, CM, AM x 2, 2 x wingers and a CF. |
