Excellent post and reflects the game I saw on the tv which I admit is nowhere close to watching it live and seeing the big picture . Cook was rushed back to the starting 11 too early IMO but it was due to a couple of factors and he was very rusty .Their second goal was a cluster of errors from not blocking the cross to not winning the header to standing still while Milwall guy headed it home. Have to question Nardi myself a couple of goals in the last 2 games he could probably have palmed away . Chair looks to be carrying extra bulk since his lay off and has came nowhere close to his top level yet. Sam field could have earned us a deserved point if he connected that is starting to be his issue now. Strongly agree on Alfie daveB they hit him hard ,got away with it of course and it was open season with nothing from the ref again.I would have pulled him off early in the second half and put on Frey and Koli to batter them. A huge factor was Marti missing he does a lot of talking/coaching during the game and the young players need that. Our corners make me want to throw up at this stage also when is something going to click |

At least your hockey team won Boston but they did not give up 2 horsesh*t goals like QPR did. Lets try and avoid a 3 game skid |

When Ashby ran on for Cook i thought Marti had taken too much flu medicine and texted the wrong name to XC. I am really getting angry about Paal myself he has to be pulled off corners they continue to be shocking yet he jogs across anyway like he is going to do something good.. Of course Saito was no better but nobody benifits from our corners except the opposition . Love the new Kid from Korea seems to know where the goals are at least. Alfie should have been subbed war earlier they really toyed with him and he was reduced to begging for frees . 2 losses in a row leaves a b itter taste in our mouth |

You hit the nail on the head there Nicole if QPR score first we will win I think.Just like last week if we went ahead I feel strongly we would have taken the 3 points but their bar saved them our post screwed us . Milwall are big and rough much like Sheffield Wednesday but our skill players should be able to out manouver and outrun them creating more chances hopefully . Milwall 1 QPR 2 |

The problem since the begining of time/ transfers is once an offer comes in and is rejected it ends up effecting the player and not in a good way .Jimmy is now torn between the club and fans who love him and his chance to play in the PL as SU are almost certain to go up.Plus his financial future is going to change massivly I suspect and he gets to play alongside the ROI defender Egan which would improve his chances of a call up as well. I have a nagging feeling he is going but we will know tomorrow when the QPR team is announced. Either way its all about his future and family and with the rough month he just had with his Father passing on I respect his decision either way |

Your reports are superb but that has risen to another level Clive just a masterpiece . I just have so much respect for the fans who travel up, down and across the country following QPR and having to endure such chaos pretty much weekly. It was so funny yet heartbreaking and infurating at the same time this train travel is a hard way to get around . Reading it from a place where people drive every where every day and most houses have anything from 2 to 5 cars parked outside just makes your train adventure almost hard to fathom .Tip of the cap to all travellers Luckily QPR won both games which softened the blow a bit . |

Slightly off topic but a subject that will continue to get worse due to airline travel numbers growing and pilots getting older and retiring plus severe congestion at many international airports . I watched a video from that horrific crash in Washington last night showing the helicopter flying towards the plane trying to land with full lights on and they still crashed. There was another plane taking off that had cleared the area (hard to tell the exact elevation ) but this has happened multiple times in the last 2 years in the US close calls but sadly contact last night. RIP all victims . |

I have been the one typing in favour of ex players having retired early injured going straight into the referee training but might have to re think that now. Bannon quite simply hacked down a QPR player in the first half with a pretty aggressive tackle/kill shot right under the nose of the ref and was not booked so they knew its was open season on us after that. Even at the end of a pretty testy game when Dunne was very angry the ref was nowhere to be seen to calm things down but luckily some Wednesday players were peacemakers if memory serves me correctly . We deserved at least a point I felt but SW are big tough fcukers and just know how to bully you |

I threw in the towel last year when the fridge started to act up and the temperature kept going up .The freezer part was fine but not the fridge. We had 3 seperate repair guys come out ,repaired 3 completly different things for roughly $500 in total yet the problem never went away. The motherboard, transformer and I cannot remember the 3rd one but nobody had a clue and as usual I lost out. Pushed the thing out by the street less than 5 minutes a Mexican scrappper came by took it to the scrapyard got probably $50 to $100 and me off to Home Depot to drop $2300 on a new Samsung model . It works nicely though |

Last line sums it up really SW are giants and one of their subs (our match commentator warned us ) has scored a few times against us and sure enough he headed one in.We were getting nothing from corners with those huge units playing for them even if we had Arsenal's coach and Rice delivering the ball. I was a bit disappointed in our subs we created nothing after they came on and predictably SW got the killer second goal |
| Forum Reply | Wednesday first goal at 21:52 25 Jan 2025
Call that 6 inches but once it rolled down the line it was never in doubt despite the excellent effort by Edwards .Game of inches if Paal has scored we would have won IMO but they het a flick on that hits the post dead on and rebounds down the line and in.Of course they had another flick later that looked in but slipped outside the post so it was not our day |
| Forum Reply | Oh well. at 21:47 25 Jan 2025
Lets just spell it out our corners are sh*t and have been for years now .How many times have other teams broke away and have goal chances in our end after another floating fcuking moon ball .Thats even if it clears the first guy which 9 times out of 10 it does not Andy Sinton said come on Keneth lets clear the first head and fcuk me he landed it straight on his forhead which even caused Sinton to actually go silent . Chair has been useless at corners for years .Paal is equally horsesh*t (the free today and ONE corner not withstanding) yet he runs back and forth across the box taking them like something good is about to happen but every QPR fan on the planet knows its too long ,too short ,into the keepers hands or the biggest crime of all directly out of play .I give up |
| Forum Reply | Marti's remarks on the ref at 21:37 25 Jan 2025
Bannon the little balding goblin actually left his feet with a waist high tackle causing a free but no yellow card that was astonishing really. Nardi got hit late on a clearence /free catch another gaurnteed yellow but nothing then Smyth got hacked down pretty aggressivly which was a yellow card foul but nothing as usual.Thats the reason Smyth actually started laughing when he got was given yellow later on it was just not a good performance by the ref at all. Of course thats not why we lost but the ref needs to keep control and looking at what happened with Jimmy Dunne at the final whistle proves that . |
| Forum Reply | New Year transfer window rumours at 13:20 23 Jan 2025
Just to quote Kevin Gallen for 3 years in a row we need an out and out striker to see if we can make the playoff push.Somebody with experience and the ability to be in the right spot to finish half chances is a must IMO. Evan Ferguson from Brighton would be perfect |

"you fool no man can kill me " then she produces that flaming red hair and mentions " I am no man " as she kills the metal dude after beheading the dragon now that was a scene . Lets pray for no flying cows in Ireland next 48 hours its like a tornado without the opressive heat build up . Be safe |

That is classified as a Categorie 1 hurricane and is pretty serious with falling debris, power lines and a real danger to livestock sadly. Any mobile homes close to the ocean should be abandoned in favour of brick and block buildings which should withstand this wind.Of course the gusts are very dangerous and unpredictable . Stay safe everybody and we can all meet here saturday morning for the match thread |

Looks like the Hull player tried to kick Alfie in that follow through for the initial hit or am I just seeing things .Springing him from the bench to run around like his hair is on fire is just so funny and very effective.Marti has figured out the best way to seal wins and Alfie taking on half their team at their end of the field is a thing of beauty |

Fair play to you Boston perfect timing I just sat down to eat after a rough day ay work cutting tile in a garage with the door up and -2 degrees but probably -25 with wind. QPR warmed me right up this winning streak is very exciting |

But he was fully aware of the situation at United before he left the club he was doing really at . Everybody knows Casemiro is just cashing checks and Anthony will go down as one of the worst Utd signings ever so what did he think he was going to inherit .What is going on with Rashford is it between the ears . I actually loved his interview he called out the entire squad its their job to respond now . |
