I will never forget the disappointment I felt when Mark Hateley was paraded to the crowd on crutches. In the lead up to the game supporters had been teased with the line that QPR had signed an England international only to see Atilla hobble out on to hallowed turf. An excellent piece that quite rightly lauds the departing Freeman whilst poking the eye of modern journalism. Left me with a warm feeling which is exactly how we should be remembering Luke despite the obvious disappointment of losing our best player.
