Good god, if that's our team for the Championship next year i'm putting money on relegation! |
| Forum Reply | so what do you all think ?? at 05:11 1 Feb 2013
I think thats why we need to start Adel and Hoilett every game if possible. Especially in the 6 pointers where we need to score goals above everything else. |
| Forum Reply | Why would we have 2 keepers on bench at 04:58 30 Jan 2013
Funnily enough i remember him doing the exact same thing once when he was at Spurs. They interviewer after the match asked him about it and his response was something along the lines of "well we've got injuries, and look: i don't need all 7 substitutes. I coulda grabbed a kid but whats the point he wasn't going to get on the pitch so i brought (insert 3rd string keeper's name) instead" |
| Forum Reply | M'VILA GONE EAST at 04:45 24 Jan 2013
Pretty much. I'm sure he'll be moaning in the papers 9 months from now about all the racist slurs those scummy cossacks sling his way. Happened to both Samba and Eto'o. |

Dann was being courted by Arsenal and Liverpool a couple of years ago. Then he got injured, relegated with Brum, transfered to the SS Titanic Rovers, and now is worth a pittance. Another one of these "high potential but low on confidence right now" types that we seem to be collecting. Worth a punt if the price is right and we're not going to sign him for 4 years on 50k a week. Olsson would be a good signing i think. He plays left back, sure, but he's played as many games at left wing and would be a step up from SWP on the left. Able to track back competantly or spell at LB for when Fabio and Traore are inevitably injured. He's very quick and would work well with Fabio on the overlap. |
| Forum Reply | Remy & M'Vila at 05:11 17 Jan 2013
Honestly i was happy to hear about the "flat track bully" moniker on Remy. To stay up you need to beat the other bad teams... so who's going to score the goals to do that? He can sit on his arse agains City and hte like for all i care, remember we have SWP for the crunch time |

I live just outside Boston and work for a large hotel chain (starwood). Could get you a cheap room if you know when you want to go, PM me if you want. |

Top scorer in the Beligan league right now. Club Brugge signed him from a club in Colombia for a record fee (for a Colombian league player), been playing out of his shoes this season. 17 goals in 22 games, not too bad even for Belgium. |
| Forum Reply | Nelsen new Toronto manager at 04:33 8 Jan 2013
This doesn't make any sense... at all... Usually old players who are no longer standing up to their level of the game are the ones who retire and take up coaching (or journalism) in the middle of a season (Gary Neville springs to mind). Nelson has captured form from 4 years ago and is the captain of our club.... what the hell happened? |
| Forum Reply | Danny Graham? at 11:26 29 Dec 2012
Sorry to double post but it still irrates me when i think that Swansea "stole" both Danny Graham and Wayne Routledge out from under us so to speak. Who'd we get instead? Jay Bloody Boothroyd and Shaun Wrong Philips |
| Forum Reply | Danny Graham? at 11:24 29 Dec 2012
Yea but isn't Michu a midfielder? If so then surely that De Guzman guy is the natural replacement. |
| Forum Reply | Potential Transfer Targets at 11:23 29 Dec 2012
I will be very very disappointed if any of our signings are over the age of 30. If everyone we sign comes up from the lower leagues i'll be much happier |
| Forum Reply | Transfer window - one more gamble? at 05:05 27 Dec 2012
Well we don't have any premiership quality players so theres that problem solved! Realistically though when you get relegated you are going to lose some key players. It's just the way of the world. When we go down i fully expect the likes of Zamora, Bosingwa, Granero, Taarabt, Hoilett and Mbia to want to leave. I wouldn't be surprised to see one of either Hill, Nelson, or Dyer retire. I'm not sure who's contracts are up at the end of this year but they will no doubt be released to trim the wage bill. That's a lot of activity for one transfer window, and then we'd be beset with the same problems that we had at the beginning of the last two seasons: A vastly changed squad that takes to long to gell. So i'd say that getting as many of the previously mentioned names out of the door now and replacing them with people who we'll want in the championship would be a good idea. |
| Forum Reply | Chelscum reject X1 at 11:38 22 Dec 2012
Exactly! As i have said before: We should sign nobody that won't be happy busting their gut for 10k a week in the Championship! |
| Forum Reply | Mackie at 11:52 18 Dec 2012
3 million is a decent price. We'd struggle to get more than that if we go down and after a year in the championship even more so. Still, he is more valuable to us than that, and would be crucial to our plans to go back up if we get relegated. I'd like to think he's too loyal to ask for a transfer too.. |
| Forum Reply | Remember how they loved legs when he signed at 04:30 18 Dec 2012
"Him and Gorkss must be in the top 5 worst premier league players ever (regular starters at least)" - Pea So if Legs and Gorkss are two.. and Perone, Dave, and One Size are the other 3 then that means all 5 of the worst players to ever play in the prem were QPR boys |
