I am officially bored with the shit posted on here, what was once an informative and light hearted site has become a constant stream of complete inane crap. Sadly I can't be bothered any more, not that anybody will miss me, but I'm signing off.

Read page upon page of speculation as to why we haven't brought in any perceived top signings this time around and my own thoughts are as follows.
1. SE is an unproven manager and therefore may not be an attractive proposition for some players.
2. The team has started poorly.
We have signed players who have generally played for, or known SE and feel comfortable with him. As results improve and hence SE's reputation, I think the situation will change.

and watch the signings roll in. I liked the appointment of S.E. and my faith in him is growing before we've even kicked a ball. Probably more excited about the coming season than I was about the last one, roll on August (except I'll be a year older).

Having decided to go to university at a very advanced age I get to very few games at the moment and would like to thank the whole team involved in the site for their match reports and all the bits of news and gossip which keeps me in touch with things at the great club which, for some reason, I've supported for over 30 years.
Thanks also to all forum posters for their 'diverse' views.......
