Worst ever QPR XI 13:29 - Nov 15 with 16959 views | derbyhoop | We've had previous threads on the best XI but, prompted by a Facebook discussion about the worst player, how about the worst team. I suggest we do not go back into the 1950s and 1960s. Those who were there then (incl me) probably can't remeber as well as they think. Your starter for ten Bankole; John Curtis, Bob Malcolm, Gus Caesar, Ugo Ukah; Keith Rowlands, Ned Zelic, Alex Bonnot, Nick Ward; Brett Angell, Dominic Iorfa Subs could include Tony Roberts, Christer Warren, Sammy Koejoe The subs would actually make the team (slightly) better.

Worst ever QPR XI on 13:41 - Nov 15 with 7836 views | QPR_Jim | Lee Harper has got to be worse than Tony Roberts Shirley! I'd also replace Ward with tachenouch (sp) the GP signing of the decade. Edit: Armel Tchakounté thank you google! [Post edited 15 Nov 2013 13:43]

Worst ever QPR XI on 13:58 - Nov 15 with 7809 views | MrSheen | I liked Bonnot! I thought him and Bignot were good for us. Surely Kulscar, Santos and (dare I say it) Bircham were worse midfielders than him. No Zesh Rehman? And I'd have Nardiello up front ahead of Iorfa. Zelic was a pansy, but he could play a bit. Vinnie Jones deserves a start instead.

Worst ever QPR XI on 14:22 - Nov 15 with 7750 views | Northernr | The thing is when you're doing this it's easy to include Zelic, Ukah etc, but they played so few games between them. We suffered Karl fcking Ready for a decade. He'd be the first name on my team sheet. Useless lanky streak of pis.
Worst ever QPR XI on 14:28 - Nov 15 with 7743 views | Bluce_Ree | So many choices.... Bankole Matt Brazier, Karl Ready, Steve Morrow, Perone Tony Scully, Paul Bruce, JS Park, Granero Steve Slade, Sammy Koejoe I know some of them are more capable than others but I'm basing it also on wasted potential. Iain Dowie, Boswanka and Mark Hately on the bench. Ray Harford managing.
| Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. He runs like a cheetah, his crosses couldn't be sweeter. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. |

I'm sure we would all agree with worst manager being Harford. His stats are; managed 41, drew 18, lost 18 leaving him/us with a measley and utterly depressing 5 wins and a subsequent win percentage 12.2% which gives him the lowest win percentage of any QPR permanent manager in the history of the universe and any other parallel universes that may also exist. What a dreadful football period that was. AT unfortunately is AF.

Falco scored loads including great volleys against chelsea and liverpool, the winner against sunderland and a brace in his first 3 games i think, definitely not one of our worst by a long chalk.

No way Falco!! As for Robbie James, decent solid midfielder for us. Wales International. Nice guy and the best 'tash we've ever had playing for us!

In my mind he only ever scored when we were already 3 up. Memory tricks perhaps. I'll give him the famous Liverpool victory though, that was his day... [Post edited 15 Nov 2013 16:19]

I know we were only blessed with him for a short time, but worst manager's gotta be Hart. Finishing a game with like 8 defenders on the pitch?!!

27 goals in 87 games for us. Not a bad a return. 1 in 3 near enough. Was more prolific than Colin Clarke who was with us at the same time. 11 in 46. [Post edited 15 Nov 2013 15:09]

Textbook management, if the textbook is how to make a win seem like a loss! It's difficult achievement to pull off. I don't think I've ever swore so much after a win either, although Faurlin's injury against Derby comes close.
Worst ever QPR XI on 15:19 - Nov 15 with 7640 views | derbyhoop | I'll bow to Clive's assertion that neither Zelic nor Ukah played enough to qualify. There's others like Santos who weren't great but at their odd good moments. I can't believe people can consider the like of Hulse, Falco, Koejoe, Leon Knight as being worst than Iorfa and Angell. Iorfa was nicknamed "I'm awful", not without good reason. Brett Angell came to us in Division 2 (third tier) and may have been Ok in his younger days but he couldn't trap a bag of cement, snails moved faster and his 8 (?) appearances resulted in zero goals,

Worst ever QPR XI on 15:22 - Nov 15 with 7632 views | N12Hoop | Players who stick in my mind as truly exceptionally dreadful: Gus Caesar (possibly the worst player I can ever recall at centre back for us) Also, Dominic I'mawful (iorfa) - a player who looked like he should be fantastic, but was actually just sh1t Karl (Never)Ready - guaranteed to give the opposition at least a 1 goal head start yet seemed to play a lot of games Matt Brazier's quite a good shout as well for shiteness Also ipfront: Colin Clarke scored a hatrick on his debut for Southampton, a game I was at, but by the time we signed him he was just a useless lump of lard.

Mark Hughes record can't be that much better can it? I reckon 8 wins? Two of those in the cup (MK Dons and Swindon I think). No away wins either.
