It does seem bizarre. But, just did some quick calculations - last 8 years the average points for the 7th place team has been 71, with the lowest 66. Extrapolating the table from now (27 games, 40 points for 7th) means 7th would end up with 68 points. | | | |

At the start, yes it was what was expected. It's the way we've got to the stage we're at that has caused concern. Coleman has to be more flexible.
If we get to 61 points but show that problems are being addressed and changes are visible, it's fine. If we meander on like we are, the worry is many fans will have drifted away. | |
