Some incredibly static non committal defending which is very unlike us. Deep midfield and CBs not putting in challenges we usually do so some strong words to be braver and tougher. On a brighter side we dominated a lot of the game after half time and we certainly have players going forward who can and will score goals and cause defences a lot of problems. Just have to be more clinical and today was about fine margins. Cook, Fox, Varane and Field will know they could have done a lot better and been much more aggressive. Hopefully they correct that on Tuesday night and we see a much more aggressive defending Rangers because the attacking Rangers is actually looking bright.
Also have we ever won in our puke mustard away kit? It really is rank.
Being at the game and watching the extended highlights sort of feel we played well, especially last third of the match, cracking Championship game. Our weakness was switched off defending for both their goals, Fox was especially asleep to let Cundle head in and it all sort of happened in slow motion watching live from our end. Enjoyed it at Millwall yesterday and game could have gone either way, they are not a bad team themselves, so made for a great contest.

thought Millwall were excellent first half and we were a bit dopey, poor defending for both goals and a little slow and hesistant in getting bodies on the line. Fox defending for 2nd goal is awful but he wasn't alone, probably worst game I've seen Cook have especially om the ball
Second half though I thought we were a lot better and deserved a point in the end, created some good chances and if we could take a half decent corner that woiuld help
Chair's form a bit of a worry, very poor again here, I think likes of Morgan and Smyth who have been brillant recently had off days as well. Lloyd is eager but really needs to stand up, threw himself on the floor far to many times

I was also there and thought we were bettered for seventy minutes of that game. Midfield was poor, too many players off their best, we really only came into our own after the subs came on. Down both flanks in particular we were weak. No Jimmy Dunne in the long term worries me.

Excellent post and reflects the game I saw on the tv which I admit is nowhere close to watching it live and seeing the big picture . Cook was rushed back to the starting 11 too early IMO but it was due to a couple of factors and he was very rusty .Their second goal was a cluster of errors from not blocking the cross to not winning the header to standing still while Milwall guy headed it home. Have to question Nardi myself a couple of goals in the last 2 games he could probably have palmed away . Chair looks to be carrying extra bulk since his lay off and has came nowhere close to his top level yet. Sam field could have earned us a deserved point if he connected that is starting to be his issue now. Strongly agree on Alfie daveB they hit him hard ,got away with it of course and it was open season with nothing from the ref again.I would have pulled him off early in the second half and put on Frey and Koli to batter them. A huge factor was Marti missing he does a lot of talking/coaching during the game and the young players need that. Our corners make me want to throw up at this stage also when is something going to click
