Changing the goalkeeper had to happen. It would have been a decision essentially made at start of season Walsh would get cup games
The reason Edwards needed to play was because Ashby is rubbish (as seen today). So Edwards is needs to get game time if we are to get Dunne back over to right back

Or defending has been awful and our passing all over the pitch has been sloppy.
They've scored five, should have had another peno, and Vardys missed a sitter and had another goalbound shot blocked.
Some of our play in the middle of the first half was really good but that seems a long time ago now.
Varane, Chair and Kolli have done ok, but I'd say that's about it. |

He’s been up against two high quality players with very little support.
I don’t think the handball was done on purpose - his arm was up for balance.

IMO that's a very harsh assesment. Santos nowhere near the level required. If he was sent back then we'd have Santos at right back and that would not go well. I doubt he's on big money. Not his fault that there's no decent full backs coming through from the development squad. | | | |

There's an element of hindsight, but I think selecting Dunne, Nardi and Morgan would have given us a better chance, as I said pre-match. Marti changed it up and the 5,000 awaiting an F A Cup miracle paid the price. | |
