Absolutely stupid changing the goalkeeper, putting in a loanee for his first start in central defence, and a player who can't play into the heart of midfield, for a one-chance game like this. And, yes, I (mostly) like Marti and support the team.

Changing the goalkeeper had to happen. It would have been a decision essentially made at start of season Walsh would get cup games

The reason Edwards needed to play was because Ashby is rubbish (as seen today). So Edwards is needs to get game time if we are to get Dunne back over to right back

Your only fair comment is Madsen not being worth a start

I disagree, sorry lads.

Or defending has been awful and our passing all over the pitch has been sloppy.

They've scored five, should have had another peno, and Vardys missed a sitter and had another goalbound shot blocked.

Some of our play in the middle of the first half was really good but that seems a long time ago now.

Varane, Chair and Kolli have done ok, but I'd say that's about it.

I would add that Field’s been all right, JCS too, Paal no glaring mistakes, Saito below average, Edward and Ashby not very good to piss poor, right side nightmare today

25 years of f*cking off the FA Cup.

Still, Jimmy Dunne should be OK for the next game, so that's all right, then.

Last chance saloon? He's been decent at right back last few games. He's not first choice when everyone is fit but he was good against Luton and Watford.

He’s been up against two high quality players with very little support.

I don’t think the handball was done on purpose - his arm was up for balance.

Tough day at the office for him but at least he continued and put some effort in. How Madsen is still playing is harder to understand unless it’s to make a very specific point.

Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?

He's been poor much more often than he's been good, this is one of the worst individual performances I've seen in a while, and he's not ours. Barring an injury crisis I wouldn't be playing him again this year and if we can send him back and save money (no idea if we can) then we should

This may be Ashbys last game for QPR - can see theres some talent here but possibly worst performance we have seen from a player for a while

You see - that's the kind of dangerously obvious question I'd be asking Marti in the post-match interview. (The fact that no one ever does is, I suggest, part of the 'culture' of the club - and professional football generally.)

If Marti thinks Edwards is good enough for a run at CB and if JCS can stay fit (big if) then of course Dunne goes back to right back. Ashby always been second choice RB and done a decent job in our recent run of good results. Don't really understand the hatred some seem to have for him. Santos would be a terrifying prospect at right back while Jimmy Dunne fills in at CB.

Terribly sorry. I'll be a good boy and allow people to make things up about me next time (including your scapegoating caricatures).

Like I have said many times before. You are entitled to you opinions and many are valid. It's just the way you make them. Ridicule others who have a different opinion, basically rude to people if they don't agree or question. The replies you get and the tone of them are just a mirror reflecting back your own. Take care cockle

Ironic turnaround that we look better going forwards now but are defensively wobbly.

Madsen still out there apparently, perhaps Marti's forgotten about him - though more likely the logic at this point is to leave him on instead of risking a player who might actually matter this season.

IMO that's a very harsh assesment. Santos nowhere near the level required. If he was sent back then we'd have Santos at right back and that would not go well. I doubt he's on big money. Not his fault that there's no decent full backs coming through from the development squad.

Well, I have a lot of reason to be hitting it daily, but I don't because I'm mad enough to love even my enemies, and I don't like the modern infantile way of sticking one's fingers in one's ears who you don't agree with. Just because (all) human beings can behave like jackasses doesn't mean they can't give food for thought too. By analogy, even today's defensive surrender contained a thing of beauty in Varane's first goal in football.

There's an element of hindsight, but I think selecting Dunne, Nardi and Morgan would have given us a better chance, as I said pre-match. Marti changed it up and the 5,000 awaiting an F A Cup miracle paid the price.

Agreed Brian.
Leicester picked a strong team to win the game: we’ve rested a number of players.
Subs should’ve been made a lot earlier.
Letting in 5 goals is not good enough.
Poor result for the 4500 who braved the travel and weather.
