Hospitality 10:36 - Nov 2 with 1723 views | kel | It’s been discussed on here quite a bit recently so this should be a decent watch when it’s out. Will be good to get the opinion of a neutral.

He made the observation that the seats had poor leg room and is the reason I don't like it. But as we shared last month when people were unhappy - no other club has an offering at the price level of Dale. For a season card holder, for £35 more you get a two course meal, half time cake, a programme and access to speaker and player of the match award. Oh and a decent bar. [Post edited 4 Nov 11:42]

I don't remember anybody complaining about the price. People had valid complaints about background music being played instead of live football being shown on the televisions. It's a football stadium and people are attending a football match, they don't want to listen to music when they can be watching the lunchtime game on one of the numerous televisions. If customers feel the need to complain about something then it should be viewed as constructive feedback and they shouldn't be ridiculed for it. I believe the problem has now been solved and live football is being shown on the televisions upstairs. Looking forward to trying again next month when we play Boston and also again against Harrlepool. Paying customers are right to flag up any failings and the £35 payment is immaterial. It's £40 for season ticket holders at some clubs but the hospitality room at most clubs is far superior to the upstairs bar which is now looking very tired. We know plans are afoot to improve the offering, that will be good and the price will probably rise to reflect that. People have access to decent bars downstairs also, not sure why that's relevant. It's normal to have a bar in hospitality, it makes the club money. I don't agree with the review anyway, the food is better than three stars normally [Post edited 4 Nov 14:04]

But is it as good as fish & chips at Seaton Carew? | |
| When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf? |
