I believe spending more money on striker won't help. Four have already been dispatched on loan including two 20-22 year olds. Two are at the club with another academy prospect in the wings now recovered from injury.
That makes seven. The club might go for a loan in January and hope one of the players on loan find their mojo.
Williams stated yesterday he was happy with his squad. He has to find a way. There is no quick fix. Most fans believe the problem is Williams s playing style. I believe Grimes has to be pushed forward to attacking midfield ( Kevin De Brunye role) and instructed to take risk s.This will mean more goal perhaps but a much worse pass accuracy statistic.
All managers declare he is the most talented player. Use him where it counts.

Grimes can’t do an attacking midfielder role with one foot. He would be so easy to mark, like taking sweets off a kid.
Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.
ATM give Williams some slack, IMO whoever is responsible for us struggling striker/forward wise is the problem. TBH I think he deserves some credit for what he has done with who we have!
I have, hence my vote to give him time but in football as we all know is something managers are not given.

Watching from the South Stand with Swansea trying to move forward from defence, I see no evidence than any form of coaching has taken place.
It's not surprising that from different views in the ground prople form different opinions. Behind the goals you appreciate the width, from the halfway line you have a better overall view. It's no coincidence that the coaching team are never placed behind the goals.

Understand. But when moving forward from defence the players have the same view as me looking up the pitch. Granted, less elevated.

The post probably didn't come across as I meant it sorry. I have a mate in the South and he was asking me after one game why we didn't play a forward in with a through ball as he was clearly making runs. I explained to him that the player was continually offside and we could see it clearly where we were. Just an example of different seats having different views. He often tells me of things happening at corners which are not clear where I am. Different seats, different views different opinions.

With you.
Most exciting view this weekend is likely to be at the North/East stand corner and not on the pitch given the visitors.
