I know there are a few tech minded people out there, so hoping someone can help. My router has the 2.4ghz and 5ghz bands synchronised. However I am trying to set up a TP Link camera that only connects via 2.4ghz.
I am thinking about unticking the box to synchronise the bandwidths so that the camera and connect to the 2.4 and then I'll set up laptops and phones etc to the 5ghz.
I was wondering if I would notice a change in performance? I also run my IPTV through an Amazon Firestick and whilst this would be connected to the 5ghz channel I don't want to unsynchronise them if that will make the IPTV lag
