Tall Paul back in the squad 07:59 - Aug 11 with 3651 viewsGRIM

That's a surprise, tall Paul getting a few minutes on Saturday.
But perhaps he could offer us something different & he is a proven goalscorer albeit in inferior leagues.
But the sheer fact that he's back in favour proves what we're all thinking is that we have a weaker squad than when we got relegated.
Fasten your seat belts & hold on tight it's going to be a rough ride this season.

£5 million would be a loan fee for a pretty decent player….

Who?

Who?

I’d take Weghorst from Burnley.

Think he would be a good target man for Brereton and Armstrong to feed off.

Poll: When will Martin be sacked?

Thing is, people think Weghorst is just a lump.

But then look at who his national manager is, who keeps picking him…..

I don't think Weghorst is the answer.
He hasn't played for Burnley since 2022 where he scored 2 in 20 games.
He had a loan spell at Man. U played 17 without scoring.
He's 32 so is he an upgrade on Tall Paul?
