Cameron Congreve ? on 05:14 - Jul 17 by KeithHaynes | Aimar Govea and Azeem Abdulai are successes. Clearly Iwan Morgan made a million for the club. Sam Parker, irrespective of his unhappiness at the contract he was offered, another decent graduate to the first team. Cameron Congreve and Joel Cotterill have a big season coming up. It’s time for them to show what they are all about. Filip Lissah, Kyrell Wilson & Ben Lloyd find themselves in the first team squad. I would keep an eye on Sammy Henia-Kamau and Josh Thomas plus Tom Woodward. Maybe even Liam Smith. Some of these players I believe will play at the highest level. |
If those materialise into successes it will be brilliant but we have had several barren years.
Cameron Congreve ? on 08:28 - Jul 17 with 292 views | RichardO | More than happy to see our youngsters been given a chance in the first team early days to say who has been successful, Guehi had a shaky start and was dropped for a couple of games but became a lynch pin in our defence, Cundle, Platino and Humphreys had good runs in winning teams but were dropped when they were deemed not up to it but all three return to winning teams eventually. Congreve looked as if he could create space when in the box and out wide looked as if he could create space in the box by drawing players to him but after a bad preformance was dropped similarly to Patino. Nice to see last season Parker, Abdulai and Govea get game time but will they get a chance to establish themselves as first choice players. Happy to see them introduced because I really think youngsters can add a momentum to a team which older cannot provide or sustain, Hourihane didn't give it to us after his intial wonder goal start but Joe Allen can and does but usually only for a limited amount of time. Nice to see Williams using the youngsters against Swindon and hope to see their measured ntroduction given the issues experienced by Parker.
