Keep or sell Adams? on 09:01 - Jan 15 with 4818 views | UTS1885 | We clealy need to keep Adams as we wont get anyone thats scoring goals in January and be cheap. I was advocating for a striker to be brought in to replace Stewart, but im not so sure on that now.
Keep or sell Adams? on 09:14 - Jan 15 with 4804 views | SalisburySaint | A lot depends on his attitude He looked sharp at the start of the season, then once transfer window closed was poor. Last month he’s looked good again, but if he doesn’t get a transfer how will he react this time ?

Keep or sell Adams? on 10:33 - Jan 15 with 4730 views | Andylad63 | I really don't think there is much the footballing side of SFC can do if there is any offer of more than £5m made from a Premier league team I'm sure the board would accept it. If they didn't I'm pretty certain Che Adam's desire to give all to the club would be severely weakened. Do they/we really want a disgruntled player going through the motions disrupting the the first team or training with the under 23s? the best case scenario is there is no offer or one Che has no interest in and he decides to go out with a bang and firmly put himself in the shop window.

Che's scored an average of 7 a season in the PL, which ain't too bad really as I'm not really sure he's quite up to the level, though he's a trier. This season he's let himself down really, as I'd have thought he'd have scored plenty at this level, PL suitors (if any) probably won't be impressed either. The best chance he's got Of playing PL football is to stay here, improve and hopefully get promoted with us. In January we're unlikely to do much better, but maybe worse, like last Jan the £20m we wasted on a player not even up to non league level.

'In January we're unlikely to do much better, but maybe worse, like last Jan the £20m we wasted on a player not even up to non league level' You really have a downer on Onuachu. Hes scored 8 in 14 games(probably a few assists too) for Trabzonspor in Turkeys superlig and they now stand 3rd behind Fenerbahce and Galatasaray. This is a player you say is ' not even up to non league level' which is nonsense. This while we wait for a player bought for 10 million who probably wont play much this season. He should of at least been given a chance to play in the Championship.

It's understandable yous watching his best bits on youtube may believe he can play above non league level, but anyone unlucky enough to see him play live who knows their football, would wonder how a competition winner could make 11 PL appearances. What's more worrying though is someone at SFC thought he was PL level, Orsic, Sulamana and Alcatraz to name a few are also well short of PL level, the later 2 don't look standout in the Championship, when they make the first 11. Waste 60 million on those four, make a relegation bound squad worse, we gotta learn. I never went to Gillingham, but had to laugh when Blackmore and Tessem said TP was out of his depth and struggling against a 4th tier side.

I did see Tall Paul play live. He arrived at a very difficult time, under two of the worst managers in Saints history. Given 11 games, most of which if my memory serves me right from the bench. Bit desperate to use quotes from a couple of pundits watching Gillingham. Under a good manager and used to his strengths he would have come good, particularly in the Championship. Orsic was given 1 game and not much time in that.A Croatian internationalwho had just played in the World Cup. Alcaraz(correct spelling)was called up to the Argentina squad last year. Sulamana will come good, hes young and very fast and will terrorize defences when he returns. We should never have been relegated with the players we had, unfortunately we had the managers who played a massive part in that.

You're right, he got 3 minutes the other day in a 1-1 draw against the might of 88th World ranked Equatorial Guinea, who are rated lower than the likes of China and Luxembourg. Used to be quite good Nigeria back in the day, didn't they? The Turkeys league is pretty much same standard the Scottish PL, if Chesterfield of the National League played the likes of Ross County or Livingston, Chesterfield would be the favourites to win.

What's that got to do with the price of fish? If they are any good they wouldn't want to hang about in a p1ss poor league like that for long would they? Apart from Robertson, who are the plenty who've done well recently? Just for clarification It's the Scottish Premiership, not PL, and ours is called the Premier League not the Premiership, no one calls it the Premiership.

In a career spanning the Danish, Belgium and Turkish and English top divisions he's played 286 games and scored 143 goals. He's clearly an excellent striker at a level which is perhaps similar the Championship.? He was just never right for us and there's a good argument to say he would not suit our style of play. Keep Adams BTW.

What's that got to do with the price of fish? Well you're the one saying Turkeys league is pretty much same standard the Scottish PL 'Apart from Robertson, who are the plenty who've done well recently?' Not many but that's because the Premiership is now dominated by foreign players but there's been plenty in the past.

They are, 9th and 10th level in Europe, factual, what's confusing you? TP may well get a few goals at St Mirren, maybe find his level, since Souness and Dalgleish they've not sent much quality South. You're still getting confused with the Premiership, its the Premier League in England, no ones ever called it the Premiership.

Keep or sell Adams? on 14:37 - Jan 17 with 3888 views | saint901 | Sell all day long. Like many others he plays well as his contract is coming to an end and he's in the shop window. Give him another and his form/attitude will fall off again. Plus he's not PL standard. (nor for that matter are a few others). Whether we're promoted or not we'll need PL standard players to survive or get promoted next season and he ain't it. Cash in and use the money wisely.

Yeah and if we did go back up then maybe we would be able to get him to sign a new contract seeing how we’d be in the prem next season and how he certainly wouldn’t be doing much better elsewhere
