Possibly helped by the decision of the DfT not to go ahead with ticket office closures after the public consultation said a massive no to that. The rail unions were not going to budge or consider potential acceptance of the deal unless they could feel secure that the ticket office closure stuff could be won. The deal on offer still has to be accepted by the RMT and is still subject to individual acceptance of T&C changes in each rail company, but so far it looks like a big step forward to the end hopefully of this long running dispute. |  | |  |

So largely outsourced train cleaners!!! who are RMT members. Key workers, remember them, aren't deserving of fair pay. How dare they have the temerity to make such demands whilst the contractors, through whom they are employed, rake in the profits.

You mean senior management of the rail companies as they are constantly stoking them up.
Lynch has to get his members to vote for action, the bosses don't even answer to the shareholders more than once per year if that.
If the bosses cannot avoid strikes then sack them as they have failed the shareholders. |  |

Because it’s out sourced by the rail company in this case C2C , the cleaners are not trade union members, it’s the knobs protesting against their own employees. | | | |
