Bloody love them both. Wasn't Jimmy's best season but he gives everything and out of the current bunch is my first choice CB. Field the shield - first name on the teamsheet and a lovely modest bloke.

Field is such an old soul. Finishing the conversation with a sigh and "right" is what my mum does before she heads off into the kitchen to load the dishwasher.

That was good to watch. It triggered in me some of the usual pre-season (irrational) hope. I asked myself why. I could only conclude that the jokey stuff suggested that the two players were very happy, which is good for 'the dressing room', and the slightly more serious stuff suggested that they think about things and want to see the team do better.
Incidentally, Jimmy Dunne made a good interviewer and we should not run away with the idea that that is easy. He made it look easy, but, it is not.

The not talking bit I can deal with it, it's when the dam bursts and the deluge of recriminations follows..........................
how no one has come in for Field is beyond me. Let it stay that way.
I hope we can hold on to those 2 boys they seem to bleed blue, white and red .Sam Field gave a brilliant insight to winning the tackles and its working for him despite the yellow cards . Not being on social media is so rare its refreshing and he seems very cool and calm and a nice guy. Did any players come over to the fans after todays win in Austria. GA mentioned talking to the fans so what about the players. Is anybody holding the new jersey as they type the answer worn of course
