Blackpool have declared on 5 at least so it won't get more embarrassing.

Even if that’s true, I’d say it’s naive. It’s a three game week and a quick turnaround from Saturday. Beale (spit) made a big point of how important it is to rotate during three game weeks.

I think it’s probably more likely that Ainsworth didn’t want to change a winning team but most of our players don’t seem fit enough to cope with two games in a few days for some reason.

I agree apart from the last bit. Most of our players don't seem fit enough to cope with 2 games in a few months for some reason.

why are we talking about beale? the guy who overplayed willock and amos when they were not fit ?

he was a short termist manager who wanted to get as many results as early as possible so he could get his move... there was no consideration for player welfare

its also a lot easier to rotate your squad when half your team isnt injured....

Well that 6th was inevitable. I wonder if Ainsworth will survive relegation.

This lot are an absolute fücking disgrace to the shirt. We may not get relegated but on this showing we deserve to be.

At the time I thought we should've returned the loan players and backed Critchley. Instead we backed the players, spent money we haven't got on a change of manager and are no better for it.

I dislike Beale just as much as anyone and I agree re most of your post but that doesn’t mean he was wrong about rotating the team during three game weeks.

Johansen, Amos, Richards, Armstrong. All available tonight but started on the bench. Could’ve freshened up the midfield with 2 or 3 of them.

Christ on a bike. There are some players playing tonight that I hope will never wear the hoops again, certainly not after the end of the season. Disgraceful defending.

If I'd been offered the job as things stood after Critchley I'd have told them that realistically it looked like we'd be playing in League One next season and anything else would be a huge bonus.

I hope that Gareth was sensible enough to discuss relegation when he was appointed. It was already likely. For what it's worth, it's a bit less likely now I'd say.

Ainsworth is gonna wear this one isn't he. Say it's his mistake for picking the same team. They were shattered.
