Saw Swansea play there in the 3 rd of fourth 25 years back. First noticed the Benelux group of Swansea supported no both Dutch and Belgians there that day. A Swansea player was sent off. Terry Phelan possibly.
Wise sage since Toshack era

Swansea Legend for me, great player for us, was gutted to see him leave.
Steve. He looked super fit and lasted the whole game I too like him at ours and sorry to see him go to Bolton where he was a key figure . Nice afternoon though Goalkeepers were booting the ball fifty yards at times and Tranny s even walloped it free when they were defending a narrow one goal lead .
With two massive clubs within 20mins the fans really are loyal and pretty much detest the brand of Liverpool and the busted blue bitter blues soon to have a brilliant new stadium on the River .
It ain’t the same though. Nobody should feel relaxed watching their side
Back in the 60's they were our footballing cousins. A big friendship between them and us. They were always on the small bank with boards spelling out LEYTON ORIENT hung on the railings. The two sets of supporters used to meet for drinks. Those were the days.

Far from friendly was a visit to Brisbane road late 80s early 90s & whilst we are talking about lower league clubs neither was Wrexham.
