Not 100% sure. From what I can tell, Fylde only had 10 players fit to take a penalty in the shootout. Chester used all 11.

Not sure how clearly this was communicated at the time by Fylde to the ref or by the ref to Chester.

With clubs sawing a bit of a goal post height or crossbars/posts different sizes it would not surprise me if the penalty spot was not the correct distance 🤷‍♂️

I don't know which is worse - the volume of, content within or consistent PR carcrashes on the back of these statements.

It really is a club being run by the whim of one man and he is being enabled by the team around him.
